We are looking for a builder-minded Startup Partnerships lead to drive the adoption of Claude within the vibrant French and Southern European startup ecosystem. This is a 0-to-1 opportunity - you’ll be designing and executing innovative programs that enable startups to access and build with Claude across France, and expanding reach into Southern European markets (Spain, Italy, and beyond).
You will partner directly with leading French VCs, accelerators, and top startup customers to scale Anthropic’s reach and impact. You’ll define how Anthropic engages with one of Europe’s fastest-growing AI ecosystems and become a trusted AI advisor to founders and the VC community. Paris has emerged as a major European AI hub - home to leading AI labs and a dense concentration of AI-native startups and this role will put you at the centre of it.
This role is for builders — someone founders see as a peer and trusted technical partner, not a traditional partnerships hire. You’ll be hands-on with data, building your own dashboards, and shaping strategy through rigorous analysis.
Drive Net New Logo Acquisition Through Developer Enablement
Develop and execute Anthropic’s startup GTM strategy for France and Southern Europe, identifying and prioritising top AI-native startups and building tiered engagement programmes that balance personalisation with scale.
Build strategic partnerships with leading French VCs - including Lightspeed, Partech, Elaia, Eurazeo, Serena Capital, Breega, and Singular - that drive portfolio engagement. Design and launch strategic programmes with tier-1 VCs, own relationships end-to-end, negotiate partnership terms, and create exclusive benefits for portfolio companies.
Create compelling startup-focused offerings, pricing models, and growth initiatives in partnership with French accelerators and entrepreneurial communities such as Station F, La French Tech, BPI France, and Agoranov.
Build and maintain your own analytics infrastructure - design Hex dashboards, write SQL queries, and use data to drive programme optimisation and measure ROI.
Drive cross-functional coordination: Lead internal collaboration across Product, Engineering, Finance, Sales, and Corporate Development to ensure alignment on activation and penetration of accounts across the French startup ecosystem.
Ecosystem Events & Community Building
In partnership with marketing, design and execute targeted events including builder summits, founder salons, hackathons, and demo days in Paris and other key French tech hubs (Paris, Milan, Lyon, Toulouse, Bordeaux).
Champion Anthropic at flagship French and European events such as VivaTech, France Digitale Day, France is AI, and Web Summit to deepen ecosystem visibility.
Partner with French accelerators and incubators including Station F, Wilco, The Family alumni network, and BPI France’s acceleration programmes to identify and engage the next wave of AI builders.
Build local developer communities around Claude through meetups, technical workshops, and content creation in both French and English.
VC & Ecosystem Partner Management
Own executive stakeholder management: Build and maintain stakeholder maps across French VC firms and ecosystem partners; develop executive communication strategies to strengthen senior relationships.
Scope and implement new partner processes: Stand up operational processes from 0 to 1 for new partners, including deal registration, reporting, and funding programmes.
Gather product feedback and represent the needs of the French and Southern European startup community to inform Anthropic’s product roadmap.
Programme manage strategic execution: Drive accountability on key action items and milestones to ensure goals with key VCs and ecosystem partners stay on track.
Enablement & Content
Create enablement content, documentation, and trainings to help startups effectively build with Claude — technical content that earns respect from developers and founders, localised for the French market where appropriate.
Partner closely with Sales, Solutions, Product, Events, and other cross-functional teams on integrated activation strategies and account prioritisation.

You May Be a Good Fit If You Have
7+ years of experience in product management, founder/operator roles, growth, or technical GTM roles — builders, not traditional partnership profiles.
Native French language proficiency and fluent English — you can operate seamlessly across both languages with founders, VCs, and internal teams.
SQL proficiency and comfort building your own Hex dashboards — you’ll be responsible for your own analytics and programme measurement.
A deep understanding of the French and European startup ecosystem and AI/ML technology landscape — can speak credibly about technical products to technical audiences.
Built relationships with French or European VCs, worked at a VC firm, or successfully partnered with accelerators to drive portfolio engagement.
Excel at 0-to-1 programme building - comfortable building from scratch, wearing multiple hats, and scaling based on data.
Proven ability to develop and execute complex, cross-functional go-to-market programmes.
Exceptional communication skills - outstanding writer who crafts narratives for founders, developers, and VCs.
Thrive in fast-paced environments with bias to action and comfort with ambiguity.

The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Education requirements: We require at least a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
