Security - Special Access Program (SAP) Security personnel work with customers and the government on security requirements for proprietary programs as well as providing guidance and support to employees working on such activities, helping them stay abreast of changes and updates in requirements.

 

Staff Tech, Security, (Special Access Programs) is tasked with ensuring employees tasked to support sensitive and classified programs meet the stringent personnel security requirements of our government customers by reviewing and maintaining personnel security packages, aiding employees in completing reporting requirements and interfacing with internal and external security customers.  As well as performing a wide variety of tasks as part of the Special Programs team within Security to include administer security procedures involving personnel security actions; reporting required information to the customer including adverse information, personnel status changes, foreign contacts, and foreign travel.  You will be required to update computer databases with vital security information; collect, study, and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations as well as coordinate with government agencies to obtain rulings and interpretations for compliance with regulations.  You must be willing to protect employee’s personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act and other applicable Government regulations.

 

What You Will Do

  • Ensure personnel security packages are complaint to support access requests for Special Access Programs.
  • Provide customer service to employees related to personnel security questions and actions.
  • Ensure compliance of operations in accordance with DoDM 5205.07, CFR 32 Part 117, DoD 5200.02, DoD 5200.48, and internal company policy.
  • Support specialized procedures for the transmission of classified and/or proprietary material/information.
  • Conduct and/or participate in internal reviews and/or Government inspections.
  • Maintain personnel records and conduct data entry.
  • Role may involve that you work extended hours, due to fast-paced, deadline-driven office environment.
  • A valid driver’s license is required, as this position may involve escorting individuals across business locations.

 

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with any of the following: NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, and ICD 705.
  • Experience in Customer Service.
  • Experience in data entry or database management.

 

Qualifications We Value

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Related training with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) including, Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC).
  • Familiarity with DISS, JADE, eSecurity and Access Commander preferred.

The salary range for this role is 50,000 USD - 100,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
