**Travel to Office expectations**

Role Summary
As a Developer Experience Engineer, you’ll build tools, systems, and processes that improve the productivity, satisfaction, and effectiveness of software developers across the organization. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to understand pain points and deliver solutions that streamline workflows, reduce friction, and promote best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Experience leveraging AI-powered coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar) to improve developer productivity, onboarding and code quality.
- Ability to evaluate and integrate AI tools into developer workflows for tasks such as code generation, documentation, and testing.
- Design, build, and maintain internal tools, libraries, and automation that improve developer workflows.
- Collaborate with product and platform teams to identify and address developer pain points.
- Advocate for and implement best practices in CI/CD, testing, observability, and code quality.
- Monitor and improve metrics related to developer productivity and satisfaction.
- Contribute to documentation, onboarding materials, and internal developer education.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong software engineering background (e.g., Java, Python, or similar).
- Experience with CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with developer tooling (e.g., linters, formatters, IDE plugins).
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Experience integrating or building AI-powered developer tools (e.g., code assistants, intelligent search, automated documentation).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on internal platforms or developer tooling.
- Familiarity with metrics and telemetry (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- Contributions to open-source DevEx tools or frameworks
