Role Overview:

Job Summary
We are seeking a pro active, highly technical Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to lead our quality initiatives and accelerate our engineering velocity. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your excellent python/robot skills to architect, build, and scale robust automation frameworks from the ground up. We are looking for an innovator who is excited to integrate cutting-edge AI tools into our testing pipelines to solve complex bottlenecks. Beyond writing code, you will be a highly collaborative team player dedicated to mentoring team members, elevating our overall engineering standards, and ensuring we deliver a flawless product to our customers.

About the Role:

  • Framework Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable automated test frameworks for our APIs, microservices, and UI using industry best practices.

  • Test Strategy & Execution: Take a pro active approach to quality by shifting tests left. Partner closely with developers and product managers during the design phase to identify edge cases and define comprehensive test strategies.

  • Innovation & Efficiency: Continuously evaluate and implement AI tools (e.g., AI-assisted code generation, intelligent test failure analysis, or automated log summarization) to optimize our CI/CD pipelines and reduce manual triage time.

  • Leadership & Mentorship: Act as a quality champion within the organization. You will be responsible for mentoring team members, conducting rigorous code reviews, and elevating the overall testing standards of the engineering group.

  • Collaboration: Be an exceptional team player. Work cross-functionally with Dev, DevOps, and Product to ensure seamless integration of tests into our deployment pipelines and efficiently triage complex production issues.

About you:

  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SDET, Automation Engineer, or Software Engineer with a heavy focus on infrastructure and automated testing.

  • Technical Proficiency: Excellent python/robot skills. You must be deeply comfortable writing clean, object-oriented Python code and building complex automation suites using the Robot Framework.

  • API & Backend Testing: Strong experience testing RESTful APIs, microservices architectures, and working with event-driven systems.

  • CI/CD Integration: Proven experience integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and working with containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).

  • Problem Solving: Exceptional debugging skills and the ability to trace issues through complex distributed systems.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., Locust, JMeter).

  • Previous experience evaluating or implementing LLMs/AI models into testing workflows.
