SUMMARY:
Placer.ai is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Product Marketing Manager to join our fast-paced team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of high-impact initiatives—from crafting intuitive in-app messaging and product guidance to developing compelling collateral that moves the needle on adoption. We’re looking for a gifted writer who thrives in a cross-functional environment, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and customer-facing teams to bridge the gap between data and value. As a proactive self-starter, you’ll independently manage multiple projects to drive measurable results. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support new product launches by crafting persuasive customer-facing messaging and collateral that drives awareness, engagement, and education around new features.
- Create and maintain high-impact marketing assets, including one-pagers, presentations, and videos that articulate product value and drive adoption across key audiences.
- Develop user-friendly knowledge base and Academy articles that guide users through feature functionality, usage, and underlying data methodologies.
- Generate segmented in-product messages and emails aimed at different verticals and accounts to increase awareness and adoption.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to shape product communication based on customer feedback and market needs.
- Establish clear KPIs and regularly report on performance, using data to measure impact, optimize campaigns, and inform future product marketing initiatives.
- Leverage AI-powered tools (e.g., LLMs, image generators, automation platforms) to accelerate content creation, streamline workflows, and enhance the quality of marketing deliverables.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of experience in a Product Marketing role, preferably at a B2B SaaS company
- Native English speaker - A MUST
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related discipline, Master’s preferred
- Stellar writing skills, with the ability to distill complex, technical concepts into concise, jargon-free language that both educates and persuades (writing samples will be requested)
- Strong editorial judgment, including the ability to effectively direct, evaluate, and refine AI-generated content to meet brand voice and quality standards
- Ability to juggle multiple projects while effectively prioritizing and managing your time to address multiple responsibilities within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proven track record of contributing to successful product launches
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with different teams, including Product, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, Operations, and others
- Comfort and proficiency using generative AI tools to enhance productivity across writing, research, analysis, and content development
- Excellent project management skills
- Attention to detail
- Data-driven, analytical approach to problem-solving. Experience using AI tools to synthesize data, surface insights, and inform content strategy.
- Deep curiosity and customer empathy
- Mastery of Google Workspace, including Gmail, Google Slides, and Google Sheets
- Experience using Figma, Skilljar, Hubspot, Salesforce, Highspot, Appcues, and Gemini would be a big plus
- Experience working with global, distributed teams is desirable
