Job Description:
Seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in hardware product testing and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and execute test strategies for complex hardware systems, ensuring high reliability and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Development Engineer III:
This position is responsible for on designing, developing, and testing components of highly scalable, distributed, and high performing carrier grade software solutions that ensure private, secure communications along with design, development and maintenance of key internal engineering tools and services for performance and scalability areas. perform as an individual contributor and work very closely with architects, leads, cross-functional teams and other stakeholders you will strengthen F5’s technology offerings, and collaborate with peers under the direction of technical leads on assigned project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Work on high performance network applications (L2 to L7)
Strong experience in software test automation
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for the Distributed Cloud platform.
Work closely with engineering, product teams to engineer end-to-end solutions.
Estimate own testing tasks and works productively with minimum supervision while showing an excellent team attitude
Integrate test frameworks into CI/CD pipelines, validate complex, distributed systems across multi-cloud environments.  
Identify, document, and track defects through resolution. 
Integrate AI/ML-based testing approaches to improve test coverage, defect prediction, and flaky test detection.
Improve processes, tooling, and engineering standards.
Have innovative problem-solving skills.
Be a passionate and dependable team player.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years focused on automation. 
Good understanding basic networking (routing/switching) concepts, network security, HTTP Load balancers etc
Knowledge of OSI Layer-1 to 7 including LAN switches, routers, tunnels, general TCP/IP and associated protocols preferred
Strong hands-on experience in Docker and Kubernetes.
Solid analytic/trouble-shooting skills.
Solid knowledge and experience with test methodologies used in software development.
Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills. 
Extensive knowledge of product life cycle
Very good hands of experience with automation tools and frameworks such as API automation, Selenium/Playwright, PyTest.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and DevOps practices. 
Proficiency coding/scripting skills in Python, Go, or Java for automation and tooling. 
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and ability to work with AI APIs or agent-based systems.
Good hands-on experience in any one of the cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
