Sr Product Mgr - Internal AI Product Operations

Raleigh, NC Full time

Do you thrive on orchestrating programs that unlock product momentum?
Do you enjoy turning strategy into crisp execution, removing friction so teams can deliver customer value?

LexisNexis is launching a company-wide Embedded Innovation Program to help teams benefit from AI in a practical, consistent, and well-supported way. We embed small, cross-functional teams within business domains to deliver reusable internal solutions that improve productivity, decision quality, and speed.

We’re hiring a Sr. Product Manager, Product Operations to define and operationalize AI-first ways of working across embedded teams. You’ll shape the AI operating model, build a measurable system for user and team success, and deliver executive-ready reporting that enables program scale.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an in-house expert on product operating principles (for example: Agile, Kanban, SVPG patterns, OKRs) and their practical application in a fast-moving internal innovation context.

  • Rethink and experiment with AI-first ways of working, translating principles into repeatable team habits, templates, and lightweight governance that raise consistency without slowing teams down.

  • Optimize embedded teams’ performance and consistency across the initial embedded innovation teams; minimize duplication and enable sharing and reuse of work across teams.

  • Scale the program by maintaining a standardized blueprint to onboard new embedded teams and partner groups, including operating rhythms, enablement, tool access, and success measures.

  • Define, propose, and track metrics for user success and team success, including adoption, satisfaction, reliability, lessons learned, and measurable business impact.

  • Build and maintain a baseline and tracking system (dashboards, feedback loops, and reporting cadence) that surfaces insights, risks, and blockers to leadership regularly.

  • Support readouts to senior leadership on Embedded Innovation progress, outcomes, learnings, and next steps.

  • Partner with IT, Infrastructure, and InfoSec on integration needs, provisioning, access management, security controls, and guardrails required for internal AI solutions to operate safely and reliably.

  • Support internal enablement through demos, workshops, and best-practice resources that increase confidence in daily AI usage and help teams adopt proven patterns.

Requirements

  • 6 to 8 years of experience in product management, product operations, or program management in a matrixed enterprise environment.

  • Demonstrated success delivering complex, multi-team initiatives at scale, with a track record of turning ambiguity into operating structure and shipped outcomes.

  • Deep fluency in product methodologies and principles (for example: Agile, SVPG, experimentation approaches, OKRs) and practical experience applying them.

  • Hands-on experience with large language models and modern AI tools, and the ability to stay current as the landscape evolves.

  • Ability to define meaningful success metrics, build lightweight measurement systems or dashboards, and use data to drive prioritization and continuous improvement.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including comfort engaging with senior leaders and influencing without direct authority.

  • Comfort partnering with Engineering, UX, Data Science, IT, and Security teams to balance speed, reliability, and responsible AI usage.

  • Strong facilitation skills, including the ability to run working sessions, demos, and executive-ready readouts with clear outcomes.
