The Opportunity

Join our Electrophysiology (EP) Medical Device business in Plymouth, MN, supporting our Margin Transformation and Operational Excellence teams. Abbott EP is advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough technologies that help people with atrial fibrillation reclaim their health and quality of life.

As a Senior Operations Program Manager, you will influence strategy, drive process efficiencies, and lead cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑impact operational results across the organization.

What You’ll Work On:

Lead Teams & Drive Results

  • Provide direction and oversight to exempt specialists and/or supervisory staff

  • Develop and articulate a clear vision for your organizational unit

  • Recruit, coach, and grow top-tier talent

  • Champion Abbott’s values and integrate them into daily decision‑making

Optimize Operations

  • Monitor project costs, resources, and performance across programs

  • Identify and implement improved work processes and resource utilization

  • Drive continuous improvement, enabling teams to solve complex operational challenges

  • Ensure departmental goals align with company‑wide metrics, including market share and profitability

Strategic Leadership

  • Build strong partnerships across functions to accelerate operational excellence

  • Lead change initiatives with clarity and influence

  • Develop and execute operational and organizational policies affecting multiple teams

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure adherence to FDA, BSI, EEO, and other regulatory requirements

  • Oversee departmental budgeting, forecasting, and adjustments as needed

  • Operate effectively within a regulated quality system environment

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a engineering or a related technical field

  • Master’s degree preferred

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience

  • Demonstrated success in operations management, program leadership, or related fields

The base pay for this position is

$129,300.00 – $258,700.00
