Senior Operations Manager – PM Shift

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m. start to close (typically 11:00–11:30 p.m.)
Location: Los Angeles / Chino Distribution Center (LADC)
Compensation: $95,800 – $127,700 – $159,600 annually + 15% bonus structure
Budgeted Salary: $105,000

Position Summary

We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Operations Manager to lead PM shift operations in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution environment. This compliance-critical leadership role is responsible for operational execution, labor management, quality, safety, service, and performance outcomes across multiple functional areas during evening operations.

  • Proven warehouse operations leadership experience
  • Strong labor management background (LMS experience strongly preferred)
  • A genuine people-first, servant-leadership style
  • Exceptional follow-through, accountability, and communication skills
  • Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
  • Experience in medical, pharmaceutical, or healthcare distribution preferred (not required)
  • Demonstrated commitment to employee safety, engagement, and development
  • Results-driven focus on quality, service, cost, and continuous improvement

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead PM shift operations to meet daily service, quality, and productivity targets
  • Ensure a safe, compliant environment—responsible for all employee safety during shift
  • Manage labor, workflow, staffing, and departmental performance
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to solve problems and improve processes
  • Support regulatory, quality, and compliance initiatives
  • Build strong employee engagement and culture across evening operations
  • Develop supervisors, coordinators, and associates to drive operational excellence
  • Serve as the senior on-site leader during evening hours

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse or distribution operations
    • 3+ years in a senior management role overseeing multiple departments or shifts
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Labor Management Systems (LMS) and WMS platforms
    • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
  • Leadership Competencies:
    • Proven ability to lead large teams in high-volume environments
    • Strong focus on employee development, engagement, and safety compliance
  • Preferred: Experience in pharmaceutical, medical, or healthcare distribution

$95,800 - $159,600
