A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As an Sr. Mechanical Engineer at MKS Korea in PSA Engineering team, you will partner with Engineering to design, develop, and support of RF and DC power delivery system. In this role, you will report to the Engineering Manager.
You Will Make an Impact By:
Design, Develop, Verify with the aid of Computer Aided Design (CAD) software tool on a new or critical product development
Specify materials, equipment and supplies required for completion of projects and may evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services
Increase the technical capabilities of electrical and material design elements for power electronics products and learn quality perspective expertise as well as Obtains system-level expertise for MKS RF/DC power delivery systems and products.
Analyze thermal heat, flow, and electromechanical fatigue by using simulation works, and improve the design capabilities.
Look for better cost effective way in design and manufacturing
Have ownership on the manufacturing parts inspection in quality, as well as product assembly
Skills You Bring:
Bachelor's degree and minimum 2-year equivalent experiences (or 4 year or more experience similar industry) in the field of mechanical design area related to industry of Power Electronics, Radio-frequency Electronics, Robotics, and Semiconductor equipment manufacturing. (*Master's degree is a plus)
Preferential engineering experiences in Power electronics, Power electronic circuits or system design, Digital Signal Processing, Step motor control, and Engineering tool skills like SolidWorks, MATLAB, LabVIEW, Spice-modeling of circuits, etc.
Design and simulation experience with SolidWorks and the related expertise will be preferred.
Electro-mechanical numerical analysis, failure analysis, reliability evaluation, and its design experiences will also be considered highly.
Good documentation summary of proceeded design and problem solving activities, improvements like general engineering processes.
