Position Objective
Lead the design and execution of enterprise marketing capability strategies through a Center of Excellence (CoE) covering multiple Business Units, partnering closely with Global L&D to ensure consistency, quality, and impact. Simultaneously serve as L&DBP for the Oncology BU, enabling field performance through targeted capabilities, coaching systems, and closed-loop learning measurement. Elevate commercial and marketing excellence, drive brand strategy realization, and strengthen cross-BU ways of working aligned with enterprise leadership frameworks and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Capability CoE (Cross-BU)
- Strategy and Governance: Establish and lead the Marketing Capability CoE, defining vision, operating model, governance, and quality standards for learning design and delivery across BUs.
- Global Alignment: Partner with Global L&D to localize and scale global frameworks, tools, and curricula; ensure consistency of marketing capabilities (e.g., brand planning, insights, segmentation, omnichannel, launch excellence, performance analytics).
- Annual Plans and Roadmaps: Develop cross-BU annual learning plans aligned with enterprise priorities and brand strategies; coordinate with BU leaders to sequence interventions and allocate resources.
- Program Design and Delivery: Create targeted programs for core marketing skills (L3Next). Blend modalities (workshops, cohort learning, coaching, self-paced modules, etc.).
- Measurement and Continuous Improvement: Define success metrics, dashboards, and learning analytics; link behavioral application to business outcomes; iterate programs based on data and stakeholder feedback.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong partnerships with Global L&D, BU Leaders, Brand Marketing, Strategy Planning & Transformation Office (SPOT), etc.; conduct regular feedback cycles; facilitate CoE communities of practice.
Oncology BU L&DBP
- Business Partnering: Act as the L&D Business Partner for Oncology; translate BU strategy and regional performance gaps into capability plans and coaching interventions, ensuring the learning plans and activities aligned with BU’s priorities.
- Field Capability Building: Design and implement programs for field excellence.
- Coaching Systems: Strengthen field coaching models, manager capability, and observation standards; implement closed-loop mechanisms connecting coaching insights to performance metrics.
- Brand Strategy Execution: Support Oncology brand objectives through targeted enablement (launch readiness, message pull-through, omnichannel execution discipline).
- Regional Enablement and Adoption: Tailor content and facilitation for regional contexts; ensure adoption through manager enablement, reinforcement tools, and follow-up clinics.
- Performance Evaluation: Run periodic capability diagnostics; link learning KPIs to sales performance and customer impact.
Compliance and Quality
- Ensure all training adheres to regulatory, medical, and legal/compliance requirements; maintain auditable training records and evidence of completion and effectiveness.
- Champion compliant behaviors and change management practices within the team and with stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Experience:
- 5+ years in Learning & Development or commercial/marketing capability roles within healthcare/pharma; oncology experience strongly preferred.
- 3–4+ years in Central Marketing roles, senior product manager and above.
- Proven experience collaborating with global centers of excellence and localizing capability frameworks.
- Skills:
- Strategic thinking and business acumen; ability to translate strategy into executable capability plans.
- Result-oriented with execution excellence; strong program management and facilitation skills.
- Stakeholder management and cross-BU collaboration; ability to influence senior leaders and drive adoption.
- Compliance and change management mindset.
- Data-driven decision making and learning analytics; experience with measurement models and dashboards.
- Innovation and continuous improvement; skilled in blended learning design, digital learning, and cohort-based approaches.
- Proficiency in English.
