How you will make an impact:

In this role you will be a key member of the Ion Chromatography Sample Prep Finance team. Reporting to the Sr. Finance Manager FP&A, you'll use your outstanding analysis and communication skills to provide important reports, forecasts, and analysis to support the business.

What you will do:

  • Partner closely with colleagues to provide forecasting, reporting, and project support to meet business unit goals.
  • Produce monthly and weekly reports, which include key performance indicators (KPI's), financial results, and variance reporting.
  • Orchestrate the annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Support the month end close and forecast process.
  • Collaborate with BU leaders as a finance business partner to functional group(s).
  • Business case preparation and financial analysis/justifications of investment projects and new products, includes financial modeling to ensure appropriate resource prioritization and return on investment.
  • Seek opportunities for performance and process improvement across the organization and participate in projects to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support automation and simplification projects.
  • Partner with management teams and finance team on ad hoc requests and projects.

Bachelor’s Degree

Experience

Requires a minimum of 4+ years of related experience

Manufacturing Finance/Accounting experience is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Advanced MS Suite Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
  • Proficiency with data reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Experience with enterprise systems such as Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, SFDC, Workday, Microsoft Navision etc.
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork and presentation skills. Excellent communication skills. An ability to summarize information and present it in a concise and effective manner to influence management.
  • Strong team building skills and the shown ability to work with a diverse group of people even if geographically dispersed.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • High learning agility, intellectual curiosity, and a desire for continuous learning.
  • Able to work independently and willing to work extra hours during the financial calendar. Self-motivated, higher level of flexibility and strong work ethic with the goal to get the job done.
  • Continuous Improvement approach: Identify process and control gaps and champion improvement initiatives through Practical Process Improvement (PPI).

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $112,500.00–$168,750.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
