Job Summary: You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in Financial Management Division (SEA 06F) of the Sustainment Directorate of NAVSEA HQ FIELD SUPPORT.

Major Duties:

  • You will develop and implement financial management plans, procedures, and programs to facilitate the effective, efficient, and timely application of financial resources to facilitate accomplishment of the organization's mission.
  • You will lead or support the development of budget submissions (POM, BES, and spend plans).
  • You will monitor the execution of funds across multiple appropriations and programs.
  • You will conduct financial analysis to identify risks, trends, and funding gaps.
  • You will advise leadership on resource allocation, execution strategies, and fiscal compliance.
  • You will support audit readiness and internal control activities.
  • You will coordinate with program offices, comptroller organizations, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of financial resources with mission requirements.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (GS-13 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing financial management or budget related activities by collecting, reviewing, or analyzing financial data, assisting with budget formulation or executions, monitoring funding or expenditures, preparing reports, or providing general financial program support for an organization.
