Signet Jewelers is seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to support the financial planning and analysis needs of our Sourcing & Supply Chain organization. This role will drive financial visibility and operational performance through budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and advanced data analysis across sourcing, distribution, manufacturing, and procurement operations.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Sourcing & Supply Chain Finance, this role will partner closely with cross-functional teams to deliver insights that improve inventory management, gross margin performance, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in finance or accounting, advanced Excel skills, and experience with Alteryx, Tableau and Business Objects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data & Analytics

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated dashboards & reporting tools using Tableau, Alteryx and Excel

  • Analyze large and complex datasets to generate actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making

  • Develop vendor performance dashboards to track payment terms and key performance indicators (KPIs)

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Support budgeting, forecasting & month-end close processes through financial analysis and reporting

  • Develop and automate gross margin analysis, incorporating impacts from tariffs, gold pricing, and sourcing initiatives

  • Build financial models, perform data mapping, and conduct scenario analysis to support supply chain and cost optimization initiatives

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement

  • Partner with cross-functional teams including finance, sourcing, and supply chain to deliver insights on inventory performance, cost drivers, and profitability

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate reporting, and improve data quality and reporting efficiency

  • Provide analytical support for cross-functional initiatives and ad hoc business projects

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics or related field with 3-5 years of experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A, or Data Analytics

  • Hands-on experience with ERP Systems (SAP preferred) and financial reporting tools

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to interpret complex data, perform scenario analysis, and translate insights into business recommendations

  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, large datasets) and experience building dashboards using Tableau or similar BI tools; as well as familiarity with Alteryx, SQL, Business Objects, or Power BI preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting, analysis, and handling sensitive financial data

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and build strong partnerships to support shared business objectives

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; experience in retail, wholesale, manufacturing, or e-commerce (supporting sourcing or supply chain) preferred
