Job Purpose
Serves as a subject matter expert in financial systems and processes. Leads small projects or workstreams, performs complex data analysis, and partners with stakeholders to design and implement system enhancements.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering and documentation for system enhancements
- Analyze and interpret financial data and system outputs
- Design and execute test plans for new features or fixes
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement solutions
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
Required Experience, Skills, and Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in financial systems or business analysis
- Strong knowledge of accounting processes and financial systems (e.g., Oracle, Workday)
- Hands-on experience with financial systems.
- Advance Excel skills; familiarity with SQL or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Proven ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with systems implementation, upgrades or process improvements
- Ability to lead small projects or mentor junior team members
