Location/Division:

The Senior Director, Global Commercial Excellence, is a key member of the Chemical Analysis Division (CAD) within the Analytical Instrumentation Group (AIG). Reporting to the Vice President, Global Commercial Operations, this leader will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, sales productivity, and commercial efficiency, while leading strategic and transformational initiatives across the global organization.

What will you do?

  • Lead global commercial operations and inside sales, overseeing the data, processes, systems, and programs that empower the commercial organization to perform at peak effectiveness.

  • Play a pivotal role on the commercial leadership team, advancing CAD’s next stage of growth through strategic leadership in sales development, analytics, data integrity, and sales enablement excellence.

  •  Design, develop, and deploy a global sales training program, in partnership with Sales Leadership to close capability gaps and deliver consistent onboarding across divisions and regions.

  • Develop and implement global sales enablement strategies, programs, and tools to improve sales productivity, process standardization, and alignment across internal team members.

  • Lead a team of professionals to deliver insights and systems that enhance commercial performance and drive revenue growth.

  •  Lead all aspects of sales analytics, sales support, and quote-to-order processes to strengthen go-to-market execution and operational excellence.

  • Champion Practical Process Improvement (PPI) initiatives, driving continuous improvement in profitability, productivity, customer experience, and cash flow through cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Pricing, Customer Care, CRM, Marketing, and Data Science.

How you will get here?
 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications, M.B.A. or equivalent business management experience preferred.


In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of sales and/or commercial related experience

  • Shown success collaborating in a global business environment and implementing programs in different regions

  • Successful track record of driving large scale change and developing cross-functional roadmaps to implement a strategic vision.

  • Proven process orientation and effectiveness.

  • Demonstrated success working in a complex matrix environment, leading a motivated and highly productive team through direct and indirect reporting relationships.
