As the Sr. Vertical Sales Representative within Sports and Licensing, you will be the face of our Corporate Sales team specifically focused on SPORT. You will be contributing to YETI’s success by proactively achieving sales objectives for new and existing sports and licensed customers while at the same time helping to build out a key strategic area of growth for YETI within our Signature Cup Program.
You are a highly motivated & self-driven sales professional with excellent communication skills, ability to engage and build rapport with customers while not being afraid to match recommendations to the need identified. You are passionate about doing the right thing – the right way… and thrive in an environment where you can see the sales process from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
· Represent the YETI brand by managing and growing accounts within the sport & licensing, sports & entertainment vertical.
· Increase sales in respective accounts.
· Proactively engage your current customer base while actively pursuing new potential customers.
· Manage, track and report sales activities and results utilizing Salesforce account management tools.
· Understand and evaluate customer objectives while utilizing problem solving skills to navigate complex customer situations.
· Manage all orders for your accounts from start to finish and serve as the dedicated resource for the partnership.
· Maintain a positive and professional attitude fostering teamwork across sales teammates.
Qualifications and Attributes:
· Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of inside or outside sales experience with a proven track record of success ideally at a consumer products company.
· Previous experience and general knowledge of the collegiate and professional sports industry is desired.
· Exceptional sales drive combined with a desire to win are essential for success.
· Self-motivated with a strong drive for success and a high sense of urgency are critical.
· Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
· Outstanding attention to detail and time management skills are essential.
· Proficient with Salesforce or other CRM tools and Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel.
· Position is located in Austin at our HQ off Southwest Parkway. Must be able to work onsite 4 days a week.
