Senior Marketing Director, HCP Marketing

Join us as Senior Director, Marketing for the Fasenra HCP Marking Team in Wilmington, where you will play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives. This role requires a strong ability to think strategically, communicate effectively, lead others, problem solve, influence, and collaborate in both scientific and commercial contexts.  

 

As the largest brand in the BBU in 2026, the continued growth of Fasenra is critical to the success of the US business overall.  In this role, you will lead a team of ~5 marketers focused on all aspects of HCP marketing.  Working closely with Global Marketing team, you and your team will be creating critical commercial deliverables including creative campaign, core messaging platforms, managing all aspects of the speakers bureau, major medical congresses across both Allergy and Pulmonology, and providing the sales teams with CVAs and core selling directions and assets. This role requires substantial HCP marketing, sales, and access experience. To succeed you will need to demonstrate a strong ability to think strategically, communicate effectively, lead others, solve problems, influence and collaborate in both scientific and commercial contexts. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Uses a rigorous, scientific approach to understand, navigate, and adapt to complex, constantly evolving environments; leads the creation of compelling, evidence-based content that educates and influences target audiences.

  • Leads the development and end-to-end execution of the Brand strategy, aligning positioning, messaging, value propositions, and go-to-market plans to business objectives.

  • Builds strong Brand advocacy among Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and industry influencers to amplify reach, credibility, and adoption.

  • Oversees multi-channel media measurement and the analytics plan, ensuring robust KPI frameworks, performance dashboards, and actionable insights inform optimization.

  • Delivers innovative, modern marketing approaches, including data-driven social media strategies and implementation tailored to diverse consumer segments.

  • Assesses marketing impact continuously; makes timely course corrections, tests-and-learns, and shifts to improve outcomes.

  • Manages cross-functional brand P&L expense targets, ensuring resource allocation, ROI discipline, and financial accountability.

  • Understands and clearly communicates sales performance and forecasting targets; partners closely with Sales, Finance, and Supply to align demand planning.

  • Fosters a growth mindset, learning agility, and entrepreneurial thinking across the team and partners.

  • Demonstrates the ability to translate innovative ideas from concept to execution, including pilots, scale-up, and post-launch optimization.

  • Anticipates trends, driven moves, and market dynamics to inform strategy, positioning, and investment decisions.

  • Leverages new technology platforms and data insights to identify opportunities, personalize engagement, and accelerate performance.

  • Leads with resilience; empowers teams to take ownership, experiment responsibly, and deliver high-impact outcomes.

  • Drives performance and results through clear objectives, coaching, accountability, and cross-functional delivery.

  • Identifies, builds, and sustains strong alliances with cross-functional partners across the enterprise and broader ecosystem.

  • Champions inclusion and belonging, ensuring diverse perspectives shape strategy, execution, and talent decisions.

  • Acquires, develops, and assesses marketing talent for current and future needs; builds succession pipelines and critical capabilities.

  • Influences cross-functional stakeholder decisions and collaboration to ensure goals are achieved; navigates ambiguity and drives alignment.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline

  • 8+ yrs experience in one or a combination of: pharmaceutical, healthcare, scientific, clinical, institutional or related industry experience

  • Including 5 yrs of Commercial experience

  • Proven leadership capabilities and/or people management experience

Desirable Requirements, Skills and Capabilities

  • Advanced Degree in Business, Marketing, or Science

  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills

  • Ability to successfully work through ambiguity

  • First-line leader experience

  • Demonstrated track record of success in achieving ambitious goals or career progression

  • Experience leading brand strategy and executing against it

  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to assess and drive results

  • Proven track record of consistent achievement or overachievement delivering strategic and operational plans within a therapeutic or business area

  • Demonstrated experience in working within cross-functional business units

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $231,988.80 - $347,983.20 USD Annual and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program. Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
