The Job:  

As a Sr Business Analyst, you’ll be part of Corporate Information Technology team working as a Hybrid or remote employee. Understands and analyzes business processes and IT requirements to define, optimize, and implement process improvements. Designs and integrates new or enhanced business applications and information systems by aligning technical and business requirements with organizational architecture. Serves as a technical designer to identify optimal solutions and develop technical specifications within environmental constraints. Provides technical leadership throughout project delivery, including supporting documentation, training, and overseeing build activities to ensure business needs are met.

You’ll get to:

  • Conduct business process analyses, business needs assessments, and cost/benefit evaluations to align IT solutions with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to define and analyze problems, gather requirements, and identify optimal technical or application solutions.
  • Document current processes and workflows, facilitate process mapping sessions, and propose improvements or new processes.
  • Define project requirements, including milestones, phases, deliverables and budgets; coordinate with project teams and form cross-functional groups as needed.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications in partnership with architects and developers.
  • Validate that business and technical requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle, including overseeing user acceptance testing (UAT) and providing post-implementation support.
  • Develop, review and deliver end-user documentation, process flow charts, and training materials; provide training to ensure successful adoption of new processes or systems.
  • Provide technical leadership and support for engineering business systems, including maintenance of applications, servers, and clients related to engineering tools.
  • Manage system enhancements by gathering requirements, coordinating with stakeholders and IT personnel, documenting changes, gaining approvals and overseeing delivery.
  • Support vendor management activities, including contract processing, maintenance renewals, purchases, and performance evaluations
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues during implementation and ongoing operations; escalate and resolve contentious issues as needed.
  • Assist in the creation of flow charts, business process management (BPM) workflows, and systems diagrams to support problem analysis and solution design.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards and contribute to knowledge management by creating and maintaining documentation and sharing expertise with teams and vendors.
  • Communicate clearly and regularly with business stakeholders, leaders and external partners to ensure alignment and successful delivery of solutions.
  • Monitor and report on process performance, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and support change management initiatives to drive adoption and efficiency.

  • Proficient in 3DEXPERIENCE platform tools, including ENOVIA for business process monitoring, CATIA for 3D design, and dashboard / reporting features for KPI tracking and process analysis.
  • Knowledge of application and system integration methods and computing environments, particularly within the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
  • Infrastructure technologies, including cloud computing / SaaS / IaaS / PaaS technologies.     ​
  • A functional knowledge of:​
    • Systems/capabilities like SAP/Oracle​
    • Engineering systems
    • CRM/Digital Systems like Salesforce or CMS, PIM capabilities supporting websites

  • Undergraduate degree and 6-8 years relevant experience, or
  • Graduate degree and 4-6 years’ relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of system development methodology, project management, system architecture and analytical/problem solving skills.
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience

The base pay range for this position in Maryland is 90,000 – 162,000 USD Annual per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
