The Senior Middleware Administrator plays a critical role in providing operational support for enterprise integration platforms, ensuring stability, availability, and continuous improvement in a highly regulated environment.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Provide end-to-end operational support for the Integration platform, ensuring platform stability, performance, and reliable message processing across environments.
  • Own the overall reliability, performance, and operational strategy of the Integration platform across all supported environments.
  • Lead complex incident management, major outages, and root cause analysis activities, driving permanent fixes and systemic improvements to reduce incident recurrence.
  • Design, implement, and optimize platform monitoring, alerting, and observability standards to enable proactive issue detection and response, in consultation with architects.
  • Plan and lead major platform upgrades, migrations, and architectural changes, including risk assessment, implementation planning, and post-implementation review, in consultation with architects.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, defining support standards, reviewing operational practices, and supporting skills development.
  • Collaborate with Architecture, Development, Infrastructure, and Security teams to ensure the Integration platform aligns with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.
  • Define and enforce operational best practices, including capacity planning, resilience, high availability, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce manual effort, improve platform stability, and enhance support efficiency.
  • Own the documentation strategy for the Integration platform, including defining standards for knowledge articles, SOPs, and runbooks; reviewing and approving critical operational documentation; and ensuring documentation supports scalability, auditability, onboarding, and shift-left enablement.
  • Leads system or process improvements.

What you’ll need (Required):

  • Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Administration (or equivalent/relevant fields)
  • 5 years and above experience in an integration platform support role, preferably supporting TIBCO platforms.
  • Hands on knowledge of Linux operating system having clarity of Linux concepts like file system management, resource utilization, log analysis, and ability to read and write basic shell scripts.
  • Experience in installing and managing TIBCO BusinessWorks 6 environments including TIBCO TEA, EMS and HAWK.
  • Experience in BW runtime upgrade.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting TIBCO BusinessWorks 6 runtime issues.
  • Experience in using CI/CD setups using Jenkins and SVN.
  • Experience in leading team; having the capability to assist and mentor junior team members.

  • Experience with EDI, Microsoft BizTalk Server 2020 or Progress MOVEit Automation.

  • Plan and execute upgrades/migrations with change control, risk management, and post-implementation review.
