We are searching for candidates that meet the required qualifications and experience and are able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities.

Job Summary:

Work closely with district departments to include Admissions, Financial Aid, and Administrative Programming to ensure student records maintain compliance with established data standards. Run processes to load mass data sets (test scores, applications, etc.) onto students records to support the student onboarding process. Collaborate with director of admissions and Technical Services to develop and enhance automation procedures to deliver timely and accurate record processing.

Required Qualifications:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Respond to inquiries from students and staff regarding the admission application, and student onboarding process.
  • Identify problems and recommend/implement solutions. Use reports to help identify problems and solutions.
  • Provide data entry support and verification of admissions and record needs, including admission application, duplicate management, student onboarding, and student data file loads (test scores, bacterial meningitis, etc.).
  • Assist students with admission and student onboarding processes via telephone and email.
  • Monitor the student information system and resolve data conflicts to include identifying and merging potential duplicate records.
  • Assist the Director of Admissions in monitoring and troubleshooting issues with third party vendor, such as Med+Proctor, ApplyTexas, Comevo, etc.
  • Monitor data on a weekly basis to ensure compliance and effectiveness of process and data integrity of relevant student data.
  • Communicate with students in a friendly and professional manner. Perform essential job functions accurately under time constraints and deadlines while maintaining professionalism with students and cooperation with co-workers.
  • Process change request for applicants, to include name, SSN, and address changes, within the student information system. Ensure proper documentation is provided.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student records in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA); supervise document inventory, maintenance, and record retention. Ensure accuracy of records through audit and evaluation process.

Physical Demands, Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. Positions in this class typically require talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions. Relatively free from unpleasant environmental conditions or hazards. Office environment. Little physical effort required.
 
Requirements
Associate degree from an accredited institution.

Two (2) years of related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
 
Equivalency Language
At least (60) semester hours or at least two (2) additional years of directly related experience.
