Software Solutions Architect

Job Description:

Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) is seeking an experienced Software Solutions Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable software systems and digital platforms across multiple industries, including communications, automotive, aerospace, healthcare, and consumer electronics. This role demands extensive expertise in architecting complex systems utilizing cloud technologies, web applications, and backend software. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of microservice-based and serverless architectures, and will be responsible for driving technical innovation in ADI’s software solutions aligned with our mission of advancing signal processing and sensor technology.

Responsibilities:

  • System Architecture & Design: Translate customer and business requirements into robust system architectures, incorporating cloud platforms, web interfaces, backend services, and connectivity solutions.
  • Cloud & Web Application Development: Design and develop scalable cloud-native applications, web portals, and backend systems using modern frameworks and technologies.
  • Microservice & Serverless Architecture: Lead the adoption and implementation of microservice-based and serverless architectures for enhanced scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Technical Leadership & Project Management: Guide and oversee technical teams, ensure project milestones are met, and maintain alignment with project goals and quality standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate and collaborate with hardware, software, and algorithm teams, as well as other technical groups, to deliver integrated end-to-end solutions.
  • System Integration & Evaluation: Oversee integration testing, performance validation, and troubleshooting of complex software systems and platforms.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain comprehensive architecture documents, technical specifications, test plans, and project reports.
  • Innovation & Industry Awareness: Stay current with industry trends in cloud, web, and backend technologies; propose innovative solutions to improve product performance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience designing and developing complex software systems, including cloud, web, and backend applications.
  • Extensive knowledge in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), web frameworks, and backend development.
  • Deep understanding of microservice-based and serverless architectures.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or similar.
  • Experience with system integration, API design, and deployment pipelines.
  • Strong technical leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional and technical teams.
  • Solid documentation and reporting practices.
