This role will be a lead developer who has experience developing RESTful, Microservices and deploying in on prem and AWS infrastructure using the technologies listed below. They are expected to work closely with Subject Matter Experts, developers, technical project managers, principal engineers and business stakeholders to ensure that application solutions meet business/customer requirements.
Responsibilities
• Design, build, and operate event‑driven microservices using TypeScript/Go/Python on AWS.
• Implement serverless workflows with Lambda, Step Functions, and EventBridge, and build containerized services on ECS/EKS.
• Define APIs and service contracts, and ensure reliability, security, observability (logging/metrics/tracing), and cost efficiency.
• Model and integrate with data stores including DynamoDB and S3, and manage configuration and secrets with Secrets Manager.
• Automate CI/CD with GitHub and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform experience is an advantage).
• Lead low‑level design, perform code reviews, mentor engineers, and drive engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Product and stakeholders to plan and deliver resilient, scalable features.
• Support production systems, troubleshoot incidents, and drive root‑cause analysis and permanent fixes.
• 5-8 years of experience
Qualifications
Required Skills:
• Languages: TypeScript, Go, and Python with solid AWS experience, and Terraform exposure is a plus.
• AWS Services: Lambda, EventBridge, Step Functions, ECS/EKS, DynamoDB, S3, Secrets Manager.
• Experience building RESTful/event‑driven services and integrating AWS services.
• Good fundamentals in data structures, design patterns, async/concurrency.
• Experience with relational/object storage (DynamoDB/S3) and messaging (SQS/SNS) is beneficial.
• CI/CD with GitHub and automated testing fundamentals.
• Good knowledge in Healthcare and Pharmacy Benefit Management
