Job Description

Trek Bicycle Corporation is looking to enhance our staff through the addition of an accomplished and innovative Software Engineer, who has demonstrated proficiency with ERP and related platforms. This role will be responsible for the development and support of ERP applications and integrated systems. This position will be expected to create, implement, document and support technical solutions that deliver measurable value and success for the product and Trek as a whole.

  

Position Responsibilities:                                                                   

  • Develop, implement and document custom solutions and integrate JDE with third-party applications including:
    • Sales order management
    • Pricing and promotions
    • Customer master data
    • Product master data
    • Distribution and fulfillment processes
    • Returns and credit processing
  • Provides technical advice to the development team and business customers on solutions.
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex JDE-related issues and identify software design gaps and inefficiencies.
  • Participates in the crafting of development standards and team processes using knowledge on the business needs and requirements.

Position Requirements:

  • Strong understanding and experience supporting Sales & Distribution modules and Order to Cash process.
  • 2+ years of experience in ERP development, preferably with JDE.
  • Demonstrated development skills in ERP and related systems.
  • Proficiency in JDE development tools (e.g., Form Design Aid, Report Design Aid, Business Function development).
  • Experience integrating ERP with third party applications and systems.
  • Strong knowledge in source controls and release management in the software development lifecycle.
