About the Role

The Servicing Oversight Team, established in 2024, is responsible for overseeing the provision of ongoing servicing across Quilter Financial Planning. 

The team delivers two core functions: Continuous Monitoring and Regular Monitoring.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to strengthen and develop leadership capability by supporting the Servicing Oversight Team Manager with the day to day management of the team. It is ideally suited to an individual looking to take the next step in their leadership journey within an established, supportive environment.

As a Senior Assessor, you will combine technical processing expertise with critical leadership support to ensure the team operates effectively and meets its key objectives. You will play an important role in demonstrating good customer outcomes by ensuring ongoing service is delivered in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policy expectations.

You will lead by example, supporting colleagues in both continuous and regular monitoring, and ensuring all cases are handled within agreed timeframes and with a consistently high standard of record keeping. Throughout, you will uphold Quilter’s standards and role model professional behaviours.

Working within the wider Supervision & Oversight function, you will be provided with appropriate training and support to develop a strong understanding of the team’s purpose, processes, and the application of Quilter Policies, Standards, and Guidelines.
 

The Servicing Oversight Team supports Quilter Financial Planning by providing oversight of adviser and firm activity relating to the delivery of Ongoing Service. As a Senior within the team, you are expected to demonstrate professionalism, lead by example, and undertake key leadership responsibilities that contribute to the effective running of the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example to ensure good customer outcomes across all servicing activity.
  • Complete key process and control tasks, including work allocation, productivity monitoring and data management.
  • Support the delivery of ActiveOps, including attendance at meetings to review plans and variances.
  • Provide day‑to‑day support and guidance to assessors.
  • Promote strong risk management by escalating issues appropriately.
  • Deputise for the Team Manager and provide cover for key managerial control responsibilities.
  • Take ownership of key process areas, including systems such as Dynamics, Xplan, I/O, 360 and SharePoint.
  • Support delivery of service level agreements while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Produce operational reporting to support the Team Manager, including contributing to leadership MI.
  • Support staff training, organisation of work, and feedback relating to processes and controls.
  • Act as a change champion, identifying and driving improvements to processes and service.
  • Demonstrate strong risk awareness and sound decision making.
  • Support management of team holidays and sickness in line with policy.
  • Ensure team risks are identified, recorded, and mitigated appropriately.
  • Build effective relationships with business stakeholders and contribute to project activity that drives improvements.

Consumer Duty

Although this is not a customer‑facing role, your responsibilities directly contribute to the delivery of positive customer outcomes. You will provide assurance that ongoing servicing is completed in line with expectations, regulatory requirements, and internal policy. You will support administration colleagues to ensure high‑quality, compliant work is completed consistently.

About You

  • Experience of supporting and coaching others to achieve high‑quality outcomes.
  • Self‑motivated and confident in driving improvements and supporting change.
  • Strong ability to identify risks and escalate appropriately.
  • Effective reporting and task‑management skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution.
  • Strong problem‑solving ability and a solutions‑focused mindset.
  • In‑depth knowledge of products, advice, compliance, and risk.
  • Good understanding of large advice Networks and Nationals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word (essential).
  • Experience using Power BI, Dynamics, Xplan, IO and 360 (desirable).
  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent)  (mandatory)
