We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Specialist, with deep expertise in logistics processes, IT Systems and emerging technologies in the logistics sector.

As a Logistics specialist you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse activities for the Service business, managing and coordinating communication between the project managers, global supply chain, the logistics providers and vendors, overseeing strategic planning of the logistics for each project to ensure successful delivery.

The role includes activities such as processing transactions, managing processes, material management, site operations, sometimes in the warehouse facilities, identify and implement processes, procedures and new technologies.

This figure partners with other members of the logistics team to ensure that the transactions are performed accordingly to BH compliance and controllership rules, to guarantee the inventory accuracy, high quality standards and to support the overall logistics strategy of the organization.

Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities

Warehouse management: coordinate and oversee the warehouse operations, ensuring that orders are processed accurately and on time. Ensure the warehouse is organized and maintain according to safety and operational standards. Optimize space utilization and layout.

Problem Resolution: Address and resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies and other warehouse-related problems.

Safety compliance: implement and enforce safety policies and procedures. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.

Data Management: partners with the logistics provider to have accurate records of all warehouse activities. Generate and analyze reports to monitor warehouse performance.

Analyze and optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service levels.

Oversee the implementation, integration, and management of IT systems supporting logistics operations, such as WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and ERP solutions.

 Evaluate and recommend new technologies (e.g., AI-driven logistics, automation, IoT, blockchain...) to enhance operational efficiency.

 Monitor data analytics and KPIs to drive performance improvements.

              

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, IT, or a related field.

3-5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related areas.

Strong knowledge of logistics processes (transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution).

Experience with logistics IT systems (TMS, WMS, ERP, RFID, IoT).

Understanding of emerging logistics technologies (automation, AI, blockchain, digital supply chains).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage external vendors.

 Excellent communication skills in English.
