Job Summary

We are seeking a Service Support / Operations & Deployment Engineer to support end-to-end IT operations, production systems, and deployment activities across enterprise environments. This role covers NOC, Service Desk (L1–L3), Production Operations, Data Center Operations, and Deployment Management, ensuring system stability, timely incident resolution, and successful hardware and software rollouts.

Key Responsibilities

Service Support & Operations
  • Provide L1/L2/L3 support for production systems through NOC and Service Desk operations

  • Monitor and support production operations, including batch execution and job scheduling (A-Auto, ASG Zena Scheduler)

  • Perform data center operations, including system monitoring, health checks, and batch processing

  • Support AS400 environments and related operational activities

  • Handle incident, problem, and change management in line with ITIL processes

  • Perform root cause analysis and support continuous service improvement

Deployment & Rollout Management
  • Support branch and regional hardware/device deployments

  • Execute hardware refresh plans and rollout schedules

  • Coordinate deployment activities through Deployment Command Centers

  • Track deployment progress and prepare deployment status and completion reports

  • Troubleshoot and resolve deployment-related issues on-site or remotely

Systems, Tools & Automation
  • Use scripting languages (Perl, Python, Bash) to automate operational and deployment tasks

  • Work with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and HPSM for ticketing, tracking, and reporting

  • Support Lotus Notes for operational communications and workflows

  • Manage Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) activities

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–7+ years of experience in IT Operations, Service Support, or Deployment roles

  • Experience working in NOC / Service Desk environments (L1–L3)

  • Strong understanding of Production Operations and Data Center Operations

  • Hands-on experience with batch execution, monitoring, and scheduling tools

  • Knowledge of AS400 systems

  • Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, HPSM)

  • Familiarity with ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management

  • Exposure to hardware deployment, refresh, and rollout coordination

  • Basic to intermediate scripting skills (Perl, Python, Bash)

Nice to Have

  • Experience in large-scale enterprise or regional deployments

  • Exposure to asset lifecycle management (HAM/SAM)

  • Ability to work in shift-based or on-call environments

  • Strong coordination and stakeholder communication skills
