As the Service Delivery Manager – Oilfield & Industrial Chemicals (Caribbean), you will be accountable for end‑to‑end service delivery execution across the Caribbean region, including Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, Suriname, and other current or emerging markets. You will ensure safe, compliant, and flawless execution of chemical supply and field services while driving revenue, margin, and cash performance.

This role is critical in enabling operational excellence through robust planning, effective resource deployment, contract discipline, and close customer collaboration across a geographically diverse and cross‑border operating environment.

Geographic Scope – Caribbean Region

The Caribbean Region includes oilfield and industrial chemicals operations across offshore and onshore developments in Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, Suriname, and other Caribbean nations as business expands. The Service Delivery Manager is accountable for execution consistency, customer satisfaction, and financial performance across this multi‑country portfolio.

As a Service Delivery Manager – Oilfield & Industrial Chemicals, you will be responsible for:

Service Delivery & Execution Excellence

  • Owning end‑to‑end execution of oilfield and industrial chemicals service delivery, from order intake through job execution, close‑out, and cash collection.
  • Ensuring flawless execution and on‑time delivery by aligning people, inventory, logistics, and infrastructure with customer demand and operational complexity.
  • Developing, implementing, and governing Job Execution Plans and Quality Plans in alignment with company processes and operational standards.
  • Ensuring full compliance with HSE non‑negotiables, company policies, and all applicable local regulatory requirements across Caribbean jurisdictions.

Customer & Commercial Alignment

  • Serving as the primary operations interface for customers across the Caribbean chemicals portfolio.
  • Partnering closely with Sales, Commercial, Supply Chain, and Product teams to align forecasts, scope, pricing, and execution strategies.
  • Ensuring disciplined execution of contracts, SLAs, and performance KPIs to protect margins and realize contractual entitlements.
  • Leading change management, scope variation, and claims resolution activities in collaboration with commercial teams.

Financial & P&L Accountability

  • Owning the service delivery budget and shadow P&L for the Caribbean oilfield and industrial chemicals portfolio.
  • Driving cost control, productivity improvements, and margin enhancement initiatives.
  • Ensuring billing accuracy, timely invoicing, and disciplined cash collection, while minimizing DSO and resolving commercial disputes.

Operational Planning & Risk Management

  • Translating customer demand forecasts into optimized regional execution plans covering manpower, inventory, procurement, logistics, and third‑party providers.
  • Identifying operational, commercial, and supply chain risks and implementing robust mitigation plans.
  • Managing service delivery across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local content requirements, customs processes, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Driving continuous improvement in service quality, chemical performance, reliability, and non‑productive time (NPT) reduction.

People Leadership & Capability Development

  • Leading, coaching, and developing a geographically dispersed team of service delivery, field, laboratory, and operational support personnel.
  • Building local capability through training, certification, and succession planning, with emphasis on chemical applications and execution excellence.
  • Fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and inclusion aligned with Baker Hughes values.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Oilfield Services or Industrial Chemicals, with strong service delivery exposure.
  • Have experience supporting offshore and/or onshore oil and gas operations, preferably in emerging markets.
  • Demonstrate strong execution discipline and the ability to manage operational risk, margins, and cash performance.
  • Possess solid financial and commercial acumen, including experience with budget or P&L accountability.
  • Be comfortable operating in a multi‑country, cross‑border environment with diverse stakeholders.
  • Be willing to travel within the Caribbean region as required to support operations and customer needs.
