THE JOB:
Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences? Join our team as a Senior VLT Manager and take charge of our Video Lottery Terminal operations during your assigned shifts at MGM Resorts. In this dynamic role, you will oversee daily operations, focusing on boosting employee engagement and ensuring that every guest receives an outstanding experience. Your leadership will be vital in protecting company assets and ensuring that all staff members meet or exceed the high expectations we set for our guests and the company.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Foster a positive work environment by engaging employees, resolving issues, and retaining top performers through effective communication and support.
Develop and mentor assistant managers and staff, ensuring understanding of departmental standards and alignment with career goals.
Deliver guest service consistent with the company’s and property’s core standards while inspiring team accountability to S.H.O.W. principles.
Oversee operational functions of the Slots Department, ensuring compliance with policies and monitoring staffing levels based on business needs.
Provide training and implementation of service programs, while effectively handling guest and employee issues.
Manage human resource responsibilities, including training, discipline, and maintaining documentation, while ensuring the confidentiality of company files.
Timely notify senior management of any suspicious activities and coordinate with gaming regulatory agencies as needed.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Will possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Must have at least 2 years of Slot/VLT operations experience or equivalent management experience.
Previous experience in slot operations as an Assistant Slot/VLT Shift Manager is preferred.
Prior money handling experience is preferred.
Open availability, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays, is required.
Strong dynamic leadership abilities are required.
