Partner with the best

To lead and manage India COE procurement team responsible for the buying process for a given set of goods. Apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entities with respect to specifications and budgets.
Requires thorough understanding, application and mastery of approaches, theories, methodologies and application in a concrete organizational context.
Responsible for driving the Operational Excellence and KPI governance of the Procurement function.

As a Senior Team Leader – Procurement and Sourcing Management, you will also be responsible to: 

• Operate in accordance with SOP (standard operating procedures) and QMS (quality management system).  Place and follow-up on POs to ensure seamless execution.  Manage relationships with suppliers and solve problems related to schedule changes throughout the PO lifecycle.  Update ERP. 
• Initiate necessary action to ensure best value for material is achieved, below budget, balanced against optimum quality and schedule needs. 
• Ensure that material/ services will be delivered on schedule per business need dates and mitigate any schedule gaps.
• Support continuous improvement to drive operational excellence for Procurement function and KPI governance to drive best in class performance.
• Handle communication with direct colleagues and the business stakeholders regarding Sourcing and Procurement strategies to support strategic suppliers’ development efforts and approaches for solving complex problems.
• Lead as a team leader of medium and large sized projects.  Work goals typically take 3-6 months to complete and the time horizon for results/impact is typically 2-12 months after the event.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Bachelor's degree preferably in business/ engineering/ supply chain from an accredited university is preferred.
• Minimum overall 15 years’ work experience with 7 years’ experience in Buying- Procurement, Sourcing, and/or Supply chain.
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Highly energetic and self-motivated individual.
• Demonstrated project management and leadership skills to lead small to medium size teams and projects and solve complex problems.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems related to underperformance of suppliers and solve supply chain issues.
• Managing relationships; able to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to influence others and lead small to medium size teams. Lead initiatives of moderate scope and drive impact.
• Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously. Effective problems identification and solution skills. Proven analytical and organizational ability.
