What you'll be doing
The Sr. Specialist, Workday Transactional Services is responsible for executing process governance, monitoring and oversight and data integrity within our Workday HR system. This role will provide support for position management practices and the provisioning and management of Workday security access. The Sr. Specialist plays a key function in ensuring appropriate governance to meet audit requirements, consulting with stakeholders on complex Workday transactions and identifying and executing upon process improvement opportunities.

How you’ll succeed
Transactional, Monitoring and Oversight – Strong analytical and judgement skills when addressing the risks of transactional, monitoring or system security administration. Appropriate decision making at both the operational level while providing suggestions for strategic changes.
Employee Experience – Deliver strong customer service support to HR stakeholders, employees and managers. Keep employee experience top of mind when responding to concerns by exhibiting strong communication skills, empathy towards the scenario at hand, and responsive and timely action.
Problem Solving – Develop in depth knowledge of our HR processes and systems, which you leverage while investigating employee issues, managing employee data corrections, and identifying root cause. Listen, ask questions, and put yourself in the employee’s shoes. Act like an owner by taking accountability for employee issues, and know when to lean on others to find solutions.
Consulting - Partner closely with teams across HR, as well as our external partners in investigating and resolving issues, inclusive of identifying opportunities to prevent future recurrences.
Manage Multiple Priorities - Use effective self-management practices to manage multiple concurrent cases, activities or projects, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
Process Improvement – Consistently look for ways to radically simplify processes with a focus on leveraging Workday processes, data and security to improve employee, manager and partner experiences.
Who you are
You can demonstrate experience exhibiting a system-oriented mindset with critical thinking skills, and responding to complex inquiries which require investigation, and liaising with multiple stakeholders. It is a strong asset if you have experience in Human Resources, Workday transactional support or system security administration.
