What you'll do:

In this role you will:

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to leaders, providing proactive guidance on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and talent strategy to support business goals
  • Lead and resolve complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair, values-aligned outcomes that support both the employee and the organization
  • Partner with leaders on performance management, talent planning, and leadership development to build strong, high-performing teams
  • Experience leading the use of people data and metrics to identify trends, influence decisions, and guide leaders toward data-informed strategies
  • Support enhancement of core talent programs such as performance management, talent calibration, and learning & development initiatives, ensuring consistency and impact across the business
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless execution of people programs and initiatives
  • Partner closely with the broader People team to refine policies and processes that reflect NinjaTrader’s culture and support compliance requirements
  • Manage change with empathy and clarity, supporting leaders and employees through organizational transitions
  • Lead and contribute to strategic projects that advance our People strategy and enhance the overall employee experience

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist, with demonstrated success supporting leaders and teams in a high-growth or FinTech environment
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills with the ability to connect people initiatives to business outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and guide managers in effectively navigating performance and employee relations issues
  • Skilled communicator and trusted influencer with a track record of building strong, credible relationships at all levels
  • Experience leading talent management performance, engagement, and L&D programs
  • Proficiency with HRIS and ATS systems
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, drive alignment, and champion change in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Experience with a large non-exempt group and client-facing or customer service teams a plus

Compensation:

The salary range for this role will be $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 USD. In addition, this position will also receive an annual target bonus of 10%. Bonus pay at NinjaTrader is based on individual performance (50%) as well as company/team performance (50%). Salary and bonus earnings are only two components of the total compensation package offered by NinjaTrader. NinjaTrader offers a 401K plan through ADP under which the company will match up to 3.5% of employee contributions. Annual paid time off allowance accrues at a rate of 18 days per year (some positions may qualify for more) plus seven paid holidays.

Location:

This role is based in Chicago, IL. We are not open to remote candidates for this role

Hybrid:

For Chicago-based employees, we follow a hybrid work schedule: In-office Tuesday through Thursday, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays. In addition to these weekly remote days, we offer:

  • 20 additional flex remote days annually
  • 5 Company Wide Office-Optional weeks tied to major holidays
