Responsible for setting the technical direction and architectural design of a customer, ecosystem software vendor, and/or open source community software project. Evaluates ecosystem technology readiness and designs endtoend solutions architectures to customer/ecosystem problems, including any required changes to HW and SW. Makes highlevel design choices for the software structure, frameworks, protocols, and algorithms. Determines coding practices, development tools, and validation requirements. Performs pathfinding and surveys technologies. Interacts with technologists across Intel and within the industry, and with developers and project managers to evaluate feasibility of requirements, determine priorities for development, and with customers to communicate IA solutions and identify customer gaps to set engineering direction.
Qualifications:
The candidate should possess at least a Master degree of Computer Science (or related BS/MS degree in Computer field) with 8 years of experience or a bachelor degree with at least 10 years of experience.
The candidate should have following qualifications:
• Language and fundamental skill
o candidate should be solid on at least two of the following language: Java/Scala/C/C++
• Basic English communication skills are required to collaborate with engineers from other countries
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to clearly communicate technical details and concepts
• Proficient in big data frameworks such as Spark/Flink and Hadoop
• Solid track records in performance optimization on sophisticated distributed software stack
• Rich experience in opensource project contribution such as Apache or Linux Foundation, especially with performance patches and contributions

The Software Team drives customer value by enabling differentiated experiences through leadership AI technologies and foundational software stacks, products, and services. The group is responsible for developing the holistic strategy for client and data center software in collaboration with OSVs, ISVs, developers, partners and OEMs. The group delivers specialized NPU IP to enable the AI PC and GPU IP to support all of Intel's market segments. The group also has HW and SW engineering experts responsible for delivering IP, SOCs, runtimes, and platforms to support the CPU and GPU/accelerator roadmap, inclusive of integrated and discrete graphics.
