FP&A Investment Management Support is part of the broader FP&A organization. This highly visible, strategic team partners closely with departments across the firm to improve financial transparency, explain performance drivers, and enable data‑driven decision‑making across the Investment Management teams.

This dynamic role embodies and demonstrates Franklin Templeton’s values of putting clients first, building strong partnerships, delivering high‑quality results, and operating with integrity.

Senior Revenue Analyst Responsibilities

The Senior Revenue Analyst is responsible for Effective Fee Rate (EFR) analysis and building the data foundation required to understand and explain revenue behavior. This is not a traditional FP&A role focused on budgeting and forecasting. Instead, it is a deeply analytical, technology‑leaning position centered on large datasets, identifying trends and anomalies, and building scalable tools and frameworks to support ongoing revenue analysis.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving ambiguous problems, working deep in data, and building analytical solutions rather than relying on manual processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end‑to‑end Effective Fee Rate (EFR) analysis, including identifying key drivers, trends, and anomalies across products, strategies, and investment managers.

  • Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate trends and key performance indicators. Design and develop analytical tools to support revenue variance calculations, EFR diagnostics, and issue identification.

  • Work extensively with large, complex datasets, developing repeatable and scalable analytical approaches.

  • Lead and support product revenue and attribution initiatives and cross‑functional projects to improve revenue transparency, strengthen financial reporting, and support timely business decision‑making.

  • Analyze and explain revenue variances by performing root‑cause analysis and identifying underlying data, system, or process drivers.

  • Identify, track, and help remediate incorrect or inconsistent revenue postings in partnership with Accounting, Technology, and upstream data owners.

  • Serve as a business partner by communicating complex financial concepts with clarity and appropriate context.

  • Continuously improve revenue analytics through automation, enhanced tooling, and improved data structures.

  • Support management reporting by clearly communicating EFR drivers, risks, and emerging issues.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is a strong analytical thinker who enjoys working deep in data, solving ambiguous problems, and building tools rather than relying on manual processes.

Required / Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related analytical field

  • 3–6 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or similar analytical roles

  • Strong experience working with large datasets and complex data models

  • Demonstrated ability to identify trends, explain variances, and perform root‑cause analysis

  • Experience designing or building analytical tools, models, or dashboards

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI (or similar data visualization tools), and financial modeling

  • Experience with financial systems or data platforms (e.g., Workday, Adaptive, or equivalent tools) is a plus

  • Technology‑forward mindset with an interest in automation and scalable solutions

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex analytical findings to non‑technical stakeholders
