The Defense Systems Sector is seeking a talented Senior Reliability Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

As a Senior Reliability Engineer, this candidate may serve as a Lead RAM (Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability) Engineer on at least one major program simultaneously, where they will manage tasking for a team of other, more junior reliability engineers. In this role, the candidate will also interface with program leadership, customers, and line management. The expectation is for the Senior Reliability Engineer to manage RAM Engineering work internally within the Defense Systems Sector (and Leidos as a whole) by fielding requests from project managers, support Basis of Estimation (BoE) development for proposed RAM work and shape the company’s overall approach to Reliability Engineering via tool selection and training of other reliability team members. The selected candidate will have a significant impact on the development of reliability artifacts such as reliability prediction, MTTR analysis, reliability block diagrams (RBD), reliability reports, statistics, FMEA, and FTA.

Lastly, the Defense Systems Sector’s focus is on hiring a candidate with subject matter expertise in reliability prediction analyses, but experience with production and sustainment related activities like Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action Systems (FRACAS) is beneficial.
