Linxon is currently seeking a Senior Quality Specialist to join our team in Västerås, Sweden. The successful candidate will undertake a crucial role in implementing and maintaining quality management systems, for ensuring the highest standards of quality across Linxon Sweden, in EPC and substation projects.
What will you do?
Responsibilities:
As Senior Quality Specialist in Linxon you will be working within our country HSEQ organization and report to the HSEQ Manager.
Some of the tasks that you will oversee are:
- Maintenance and ownership of Quality Management System
- Supporting the organization in driving improvement activities preventing quality issues.
- Continuously coach and train the organization, quality tools and problem-solving methodology.
- Improve quality processes, strengthen collaboration between departments, and optimize QA/QC activities together with Project Quality Specialist.
- Driving local implementation of global quality processes and initiatives.
- Visualizing quality performance to drive issue resolution and continuous improvement.
- Performing high quality root cause analysis and identifying preventive actions.
- Managing customer feedback in a structured and efficient manner and within the operating unit be the voice of the customer.
- Participating in weekly HSEQ meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in relevant industry standards and quality management systems, e.g. ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
- Proven experience in quality assurance within the construction, engineering or energy industry, with focus on substation projects.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and to build trust with people on different organizational levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a drive for identifying trends and proposing innovative solutions.
- Good IT skills, e.g. SharePoint, Document Management system and project collaboration tools
- Strong planning and prioritizing skills.
- Must be fluent in Swedish and English written and spoken.
