About the Role:

Under the supervision of the Head of SOX, the Senior Program Manager will work with SOX program management office (“PMO”) to analyze and develop the systems in place within Remitly’s IT SOX function. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the United States based on manager approval.

You Will:

  • Drive the IT pillar within the SOX PMO as the company continues to acquire businesses, build new products, and implement new computer systems and controls.

  • Review, understand, and analyze computer systems, risks, and controls in areas such as access, change management, third-party risk, and key reports.

  • Translate IT SOX compliance and internal controls related to financial reporting requirements and collaborate with first line of defense (“LOD”) technology, security, and engineering teams and second LOD technology governance, risk, and compliance teams to enhance our systems and ensure compliance.

  • Drive SOX risk assessments and computer system scoping, designing IT systems and controls to mitigate financial reporting risks from initiation through reporting.

  • Provide guidance related to SOX control readiness for business-as-usual IT processes based upon analysis of existing systems.

  • Test and analyze system designs and coordinate with first LOD to respond to and provide 404a/b audit requests and questions.

  • Develop, revise, and deliver training around SOX processes to the SOX stakeholder community, including process and control owners.

  • Develop materials for SOX oversight committees.

You Have:

  • Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience with IT auditing and risk management.

  • 1 year of experience with managing IT audit projects for Sarbanes Oxley compliance for public companies;

  • 1 year of experience with working cross functionally to implement control frameworks, security policies, standards and procedures;

  • 1 year of experience with presenting audit status reports and materials to leadership and communicating audit progress and conclusions;

  • 1 year of experience with AICPA, COBIT, COSO, CPAB, ISA, Microsoft Azure, NIST, Oracle EBS, PCAOB, PeopleSoft, SAP ERP, SOC1, and SQL.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $150,550.00 - $216,000.00 per year. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
