Job Description

Product Managers at U.S. Bank are customer obsessed in driving product visioning, planning, and development to deliver on our human + digital product strategy and staying one step ahead of evolving economic, technological, and customer needs.

Healthcare Product Managers play a critical role in shaping and delivering payment, receivables, and revenue cycle solutions that help healthcare organizations operate more efficiently, securely, and at scale. This role partners closely with technology, experience design, risk, sales, and healthcare industry teams to translate complex healthcare workflows into scalable, compliant product solutions.

We are seeking a Senior Healthcare Product Manager to own and drive healthcare focused product strategy and execution across the end to end product lifecycle, from discovery and strategy through delivery and optimization. This role sits within Healthcare Product & Strategy and is accountable for setting direction for assigned products or capabilities, executing against the healthcare product roadmap, and delivering meaningful customer and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the healthcare product strategy for assigned products or capabilities, partnering with senior product leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders to define product vision, priorities, and roadmap direction aligned to healthcare client needs and business strategy.
  • Proactively identify, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities based on healthcare industry pain points, including revenue cycle operations, payment complexity, reconciliation, reporting, and exception management.
  • Define, track, and communicate product outcomes for assigned initiatives, working with internal partners and external vendors to translate strategy into prioritized enhancements, configurations, and roadmap commitments that deliver measurable customer and business value.
  • Lead execution across the end‑to‑end product lifecycle for assigned healthcare capabilities, including market and client discovery, business case development, requirements definition, vendor engagement, implementation readiness, launch, and ongoing optimization.
  • Serve as the primary product owner and liaison between U.S. Bank and third‑party providers, ensuring product direction, delivery expectations, and commitments related to scope, timing, quality, and risk are clearly defined and met.
  • Provide strategic leadership and influence across lines of business (Treasury Management, Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, Sales, and Operations) to ensure healthcare solutions are aligned with broader U.S. Bank strategies and capabilities.
  • Partner closely with risk, compliance, legal, and information security teams to proactively identify and manage regulatory, privacy, and operational risk considerations throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Use data, client feedback, and market insights to inform product decisions, measure performance, and continuously improve healthcare product offerings.
  • Support go‑to‑market strategy and execution, including pricing strategy alignment, sales enablement, client‑facing communications, and post‑launch performance assessment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 8–10+ years of product management or closely related experience, preferably in healthcare revenue cycle management, financial services, or B2B platforms
  • Demonstrated experience owning product strategy and execution for complex products or capabilities
  • Experience leading products in a highly regulated environment, with direct engagement across risk, compliance, and legal partners
  • Proven ability to work independently and influence outcomes within a matrixed organization with senior stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting healthcare clients or healthcare‑related solutions, such as revenue cycle, payables/receivables, disbursements, refunds, claims payments, or reporting workflows
  • Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle operations from a provider and/or payer perspective
  • Proven ability to synthesize client, market, and operational insights into clear product strategy and execution plans
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting product direction and outcomes to senior stakeholders
  • Experience managing vendor‑hosted platforms, integrations, or third‑party product partnerships

Competencies & Success Factors

  • Strategic, customer‑centric product mindset with a deep appreciation for healthcare workflows and operating models
  • Ability to lead through influence and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Strong judgment and comfort making trade‑offs in complex, high‑visibility environments
  • Execution‑focused leader who can balance strategy, delivery, and risk management
  • Continuous learner with a strong interest in advancing healthcare payments and revenue cycle solutions
