The Opportunity
As a Sr. Product Manager, you will be accountable for partnering with your product teams, including the product director, subject matter experts and agile teams to develop and/or manage new (or existing) product(s) vision, strategy, roadmap and end-to-end product lifecycle for the Access and Contracting Domain. You will co-create solutions and lead agile teams to deliver product features, enhancements for your assigned products.

In the role of a Sr. Product Manager, you will own co-creation and delivery of specific product(s) features and will be responsible for experimentation, pilot, design, development, and change management plans for your assigned product. In partnership with teams across CMG, this role will ensure that CMG utilizes best-in-class, E2E enterprise-level market access infrastructure (i.e. process, technology, tools, data assets) so that contracting solutions are maximized for customers, GNE, and customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Drive co-creation of product vision and strategy, including contribution to the development and implementation of cross Products strategies, through deep partnership and collaboration with product owner and stakeholders for assigned products.
Connect with the customer and represent the end user. Since Value is determined by the customer, be keenly aware of the needs of the people to whom products are delivered.
Working with contracting and access subject matter experts, understand implications, advantages, and limitations of implementing digital technology, tools on business critical contracting processes/organizations and work with key stakeholders to recommend/ implement changes to enable digital transformation
As a member of the Agile team, attend and actively participate in team events during execution.
Provide crucial feedback on the team’s work from an outside-in, customer-centric point of view during iteration planning, backlog refinement, iteration reviews, team retrospectives, and team syncs.
Guide Story creation and balance stakeholder needs across product features
Collaborate with Integrated Informatics and be responsible for execution of product features and make technical product decisions.
Provide direction to agile development team by using SAFe processes to ensure that the development team is clear on what to work on next
Ensure that development work is aligned with the priorities set by the Product Owner
Implement product features and collaborate with subject matter experts to deliver product outcomes
Coordinate discussions and vendor negotiations to enable POC’s, pilot, scale up and implementation.
Who you are
You have a Bachelor degree (Or advanced degree)
5+ years of experience in market access and related product-centric knowledge
You have an in-depth understanding of Market Access dynamics, Payers, PBMs, Specialty Distributors, Provider GPOs, 340B entities, SPs, etc Contracting strategy and execution including pull through, Contract Profitability and contract analytics & Contract lifecycle management.

Preferred Qualifications
An understanding of Managed Care & Organized customers with a keen interest in digital technologies platforms and solutions that advance patient access will be a plus.

The role requires an onsite presence at our South San Francisco Genentech campus

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA is $136,900/yr to $254,200/yr. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
