The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Senior Procurement Multi-Family Manager to join our team in Long Beach, CA.
This position is for a Senior Manager with responsibility, accountability, and authority (RAA) to lead the C-17 Supply Chain Integration (SCI) team. The successful candidate will have primary responsibility for C-17 Program supplier management integration activities while working collaboratively across teams and functions to achieve business objectives in a dynamic environment.
Position Responsibilities:
Acts as an authorized agent of the company with authority for managing supplier-related activities and authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements
Manage employees and mid-level managers from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities focusing on engagement with the supply base for development of affordability, alternate sourcing, and obsolescence resolution strategies
Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals and objectives
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Provides oversight regarding negotiation strategies, processes and related tools
Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers
Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience are required
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience with the procurement process
5+ years of experience managing employees
10+ years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
10+ years of experience in partnering with supplier management to develop sourcing strategies and develop statements of work
3+ years of experience leading a team and/or large project in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
10+ years of equivalent experience

Summary pay range: $174,250.00 - $235,750.00
