The Opportunity

We’re hiring a Senior Program Manager / Principal Program Manager (level of individual candidates to be determined as part of interview process based on experience and fit) to lead strategic as well as tactical cross-functional initiatives across the organization, including but not limited to covering Accounting and Finance Operations (e.g., AP, AR, Credit Risk, Accounting, Collections and other cross functional initiatives). This role requires a delivery leader who can manage and present to stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives, and has sufficient finance and accounting knowledge to translate strategies and problems into clear, actionable plans—driving clarity, alignment, and measurable outcomes across workstreams.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of controllership, finance operations and other initiatives: scoping, planning, execution, change management, and post-implementation tracking.

  • Build and maintain actionable plans with clear milestones, dependencies, owners, and governance cadences - supporting owners to unblock issues and keeping delivery on track.

  • Drive program discipline: clear business requirements, decision logs, timelines, and measurable success metrics.

  • Act as the central point of alignment across teams—identify misalignment early, facilitate decisions, and ensure timely escalation when needed.

  • Partner with teams outside Finance (Product, IT, Legal, Commercial) to design and implement end-to-end solutions as needed.

  • Prepare and deliver executive-ready materials (steerco decks, one-pagers, decision memos) highlighting progress, issues, and trade-offs to senior leadership including C-suite.

Example Initiatives You May Manage:

  • Coordinate improvement of specific metrics across organization like cash flow metrics for example through better AR collections prioritization, dispute resolution workflows, payout timing optimizations, and operational controls.

  • Enhance the balance sheet reconciliation process through a more robust review mechanism and improving reconciliation standards.

  • Establish new business models and ensure scalable finance processes are in place (accounting treatment alignment, operational workflows, controls, reporting readiness).

  • Cross-functional finance initiatives involving tooling, automation, data flow changes, and operating model redesign.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • 8+ years in program management or project management, preferably in consulting or finance transformation environments.

  • Strong problem-solving skills; comfortable structuring ambiguous strategies and/or problems into executable plans.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and manage complex stakeholder environments across multiple teams.

  • Proven experience producing and presenting executive-level communications (e.g. steering committees, senior leadership updates).

  • Sound working knowledge of accounting and finance operations concepts.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in relevant industries such as travel tech, e-commerce and fintech is a plus.

  • Experience with finance transformation, controllership operations or large-scale process redesign.

  • Familiarity with internal controls, audit requirements, and governance models (SOX experience a plus if applicable).

  • Experience partnering with product/engineering or data teams on process/tooling changes.

  • Relevant certifications that augment program management like PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile are a plus.

  • Confident, structured, and able to drive decisions in senior forums.

  • Comfortable challenging assumptions and resolving conflict constructively.

  • Detail-oriented while maintaining a strong grasp of business outcomes.

  • High ownership, bias for action, and strong follow-through.
