Senior Portfolio Coordinator

Position Overview:

Support the EPMO managers, leaders and project management professionals, assisting in managing the portfolio intake process and in the coordination of deliverables and artifacts required to support reporting, and general PM support.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • (Weighted 50%) Lead and coordinate the EPMO intake process, including assessment of prospective projects, ensuring project progress through the process and tracking tools (JIRA).
  • (Weighted 20%) Develop and update governance materials including project and risk committee packets, dashboards and other portfolio reporting vehicles
  • (Weighted 15%) Drive adherence to PMO standards, governance methodologies, frameworks, and other compliance requirements.
  • (Weighted 15%) Lead meetings, communications, and project-related events. Including the ability to coordinate resources to solve project risks and issues related to the project

Required Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):

  • Bachelors, Acceptable Fields of Study: Business, Management, Computer Science or other related field
  • Additional three years of relevant experience can be considered in lieu of degree
  • 5 years’ experience with portfolio/project co-ordination
  • Excellent communication and written skills required. Solid oral and written presentation skills.  Ability to use MS PowerPoint and/or other presentation applications. Experience in Project and/or Program Management. Working knowledge of project management software to include Jira and Microsoft Office.
  • Project management certifications desired: Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Working knowledge of project management software to include Jira and Microsoft Office.
