We are looking for you, if you have:
practical experience in business continuity management,
hands‑on experience with physical security systems and processes,
solid knowledge of risk management and risk analysis,
well‑developed analytical, planning, and communication skills,
the ability to work across multiple topics and priorities at the same time,
confidence in communicating with a variety of stakeholders.
English Level: B2/C1

Physical Security Professional (PSP)
International Foundation for Protection Officers (IFPO)

Your responsibilities:
Contribute as part of the 1st Line of Defense for Personal and Physical Security within the Physical Security Management Framework
Support the design, implementation, and day‑to‑day operation of physical and personal security controls across multiple entities
Help ensure that security controls are implemented as intended, operate effectively, and align with internal standards and risk appetite
Prepare, maintain, and continuously improve operational resilience, business continuity, and related control documentation
Coordinate and participate in physical security checks, reviews, audits, and control validations from a 1LoD perspective
Monitor physical and personal security risks, identify gaps, and support the follow‑up of remediation actions
Contribute to the development, maintenance, and review of Business Continuity Plans (BCP), particularly where physical security aspects apply
Support the translation of lessons learned from incidents, tests, and exercises into practical improvements of 1LoD controls.
Information about the team:
As Senior Operational Resilience Officer, you are part of the 1st Line of Defense team, supporting the effective design, implementation, and monitoring of Operational Resilience and Personal & Physical Security controls.
You help ensure that physical security, people‑related security, and operational‑related risks are properly managed, controlled, and embedded into risk management, business continuity and resilience capabilities.
The role is positioned within the BCO&IT Risk Area, contributing to non‑financial risk management and continuous improvement across multiple entities and countries. The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be "Business Control Specialist III".
