Build your career and Australia’s future.
Not many people can say they are working on building Australia’s future. With us you’ll be doing just that, leaving a legacy for all Australians. Plus, there’s equal employment, great training, and true flexible working arrangements.
A bit about your role
As the Senior Network Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting and evolving the network and IT environments across nbn’s Data Centres and Network Infrastructure. You will act as a trusted subject matter expert, providing deep technical insight and Level 3 support across all network domains. Your work will span the design, deployment, migration and operation of network services, ensuring seamless connectivity, robust security, and high availability across mission-critical platforms.
You will collaborate closely with delivery teams, architects and security specialists to ensure network solutions are aligned with enterprise strategy and security posture. Whether you’re guiding major projects, resolving complex incidents, or maintaining operational excellence, your contribution will help shape the resilience and performance of nbn’s infrastructure. This is a role where your expertise will directly support Australia’s digital backbone, and your leadership will foster clarity and confidence across a highly integrated technical environment.
A bit about you
You are a seasoned network professional with a strong infrastructure background and a passion for enabling secure, scalable connectivity. With 10–15 years of experience and deep exposure to Cisco, F5 and VMware technologies, you bring a calm, analytical mindset to complex challenges and a collaborative spirit to cross-functional delivery. You’re confident operating at CCIE level, and your success in managing mission-critical systems reflects your commitment to excellence and precision.
Your approach is thoughtful and inclusive, with a natural ability to influence and guide others. You thrive in environments where teamwork and shared purpose drive outcomes, and you’re energised by opportunities to mentor, advise and uplift those around you. With high emotional intelligence and a solutions-oriented mindset, you balance technical rigour with a genuine care for people and outcomes. If you’re ready to help shape the future of Australia’s network infrastructure, we’d love to hear from you.
