Role summary
The Senior Marketing Manager will work within the BU on the planning, development and implementation of the strategic and operational plans to appropriately shape the environment to enable us to bring our breakthroughs to patients in the UK. They will drive customer operation excellence at country level and bring customer insight into the BU to influence/shape strategy and tactics.
They will lead and coordinate the in-country cross functional team including close liaison with medical, policy and public affairs, access and value, communications, legal and regulatory. They will also be the key contact for all things associated with their brand.
Marketing Strategy and Execution
Proactively identify relevant insights and ensure they are appropriately integrated into brand strategy and pulled through to plan development, implementation & CFC engagement.
Lead and deliver OP plan aligned to global/regional guidance and with strong engagement from cross functional colleagues.
Lead Development and delivery of end to end customer centric omnichannel campaigns across appropriate channels following best practice for tracking and reporting of campaigns to generate insights through data interpretation and influence the trajectory of future campaigns.
Support development and delivery of Congress plan with CFCs and HO to showcase our brand assets at HCP events.
Leadership
Lead and collaborate with cross functional team to deliver the existing brand plan with a focus on the omnichannel campaign to achieve budget in line DME spend.
Ensure segmentation and targeting is fully understood, delivered, re-evaluated regularly, and mitigation plans developed where execution may not be meeting expectations.
Ensure timely input from relevant internal stakeholders (e.g. legal, medical, regulatory) to ensure efficient & compliant delivery on project plans.
Lead performance reporting for the brand with regular reviews and mitigation plans developed and implemented where necessary.
Leadership within the team of apprentices/undergraduates to ensure projects aligning with their capability and growth plans.
Internal / External Ambassador
Work with the Code team and agencies to ensure timely and compliant materials approvals for meetings and contracts.
Leadership of MRE team to appropriately prioritise critical assets for review and approval ensuring all relevant policies and codes adhered to
Conduct all activities and make all decisions in accordance with Company policies & SOPs, Pfizer Values, & the requirements of the ABPI Code of Practice
Customer Engagement & Insight
Lead the development and execution of strategy to engage key stakeholders, foster brand advocacy and continue to drive uptake.
Ensure that customer and patient insights as well as market issues are well understood and processed into the local /national business plans.
Financial Planning
Lead the management & prioritisation of DME budget in line with global strategy & international commercial office and in dialogue with customer facing functions.
Lead data analysis, interpretation, stock management, tracking vs KPls with support of IIS and cross functional team including actionable recommendations with a line of sight to growth.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate or Graduate equivalent, and ABPI qualification
Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry, healthcare environment and NHS
Commercially astute with proven experience of brand forecasting, performance tracking and financial management (not limited to operating plans, P&Ls and expense budget)
Proven experience in developing and executing omnichannel campaigns which delight external stakeholders
Strategic thinking capability
Strong cross-functional working skills with a proven track record of coordinating and collaboration across multiple teams; recognized as a leader.

Proven ability to analyse, define and convey complex concepts and strategies in verbal and written communication.
Strong project management and relationship-building skills
Well organized with ability to be flexible, prioritize multiple demands and effectively perform under tight timelines.
Experience and knowledge of the Legal/Medical/Regulatory review process, and of maintain up to date and accurate product information in a compliant manner.
