The Africa Sales Leader will be responsible for driving enterprise sales growth across the African region for our Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) portfolio. This executive will develop and execute a regional go-to-market strategy, build and lead a high-performing sales organization, and forge strategic relationships with enterprise customers, partners, and industry stakeholders. The role requires deep expertise in enterprise cloud sales, proven success navigating complex multi-country environments, and the ability to influence C-level decision makers across financial services, telecommunications, retail, public sector, and other key verticals.
Define and execute the African regional sales strategy aligned with a sales booking target with focus in new logo and market deveopment
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing enterprise sales team, mainly account executives, supported by sales engineers, csm and partners managers.
Develop annual and quarterly business plans, including forecasting, pipeline management, and performance KPIs.
Drive expansion of CCaaS market share across all markets
Own revenue targets for the region, ensuring consistent over achievement.
Lead complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles from prospecting to negotiation and contract closure driving MEDDPICC methodology
Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with CIOs, CTOs, COOs, AI stakeholders and CX leadership teams.
Partner with marketing to develop regional demand-generation programs.
Build and manage a robust partner ecosystem including system integrators, alliances resellers, and consulting partners.
Oversee joint business planning, partner enablement, and co-selling initiatives.
Ensure partners are aligned to enterprise go-to-market motions and equipped to drive CCaaS And AI adoption.
Identify and execute market penetration opportunities in emerging African markets.
Analyze competitive trends and adapt strategy to maintain differentiation.
Represent the organization at regional industry events, forums, and customer advisory boards.
Drive disciplined sales operations across forecasting, CRM hygiene, and deal governance.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Professional Services, Customer Success, Finance, and Legal to ensure seamless delivery of customer outcomes.
Ensure compliance with commercial, legal, and regulatory requirements across diverse African markets.
15+ years of enterprise software or cloud solutions sales experience, with at least 7 years in a regional leadership position.
Demonstrated success in selling CCaaS, AI , SaaS, or cloud communications solutions to large enterprises.
Proven track record of exceeding multi-million-dollar revenue targets.
Extensive experience building and scaling enterprise sales teams in multi-country environments.
Strong executive presence with excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to manage long, complex sales cycles involving C-suite and procurement stakeholders.
Experience working with or through channel and ecosystem partners.
Deep understanding of Contact Center technologies, AI, digital transformation, customer experience strategy, and cloud adoption within Africa.
Ability to travel frequently across the region.
Experience working for a global CCaaS, AI or SaaS provider.
Strong network across African enterprise markets.
Familiarity with public sector procurement frameworks in key African countries.
Multilingual capabilities (English required; French, Arabic, or Portuguese desirable).
Consistent attainment of annual revenue targets.
Growth of enterprise footprint and market share in key African verticals.
Expansion and productivity of the partner ecosystem.
High employee engagement and low turnover in the sales team.
Customer satisfaction scores and successful CCaaS deployments.
