Job Description

The Role
As Senior Manager for Semiconductor Supply Operations, you are responsible for controlling the ordering and material flow from Semiconductors Supply Base into third party distributors partners and GM tiered electronic modules supply base in efficient manner so to keep the right level of safety inventory and depletion levels while guaranteeing continued supply pipeline.

Your Team is responsible to run analysis over forecast demand updates, material scheduling on a weekly basis and identify variances, anomalies and resolve production and supply potential issues that can compromise the continuity of tiered supply base and GM operations. Responsibilities also involve developing alternative supply plans to overcome potential disruptions, manage inventories depletion and rotation to avoid obsolescence costs.

What You’ll Do

  • Responsibilities include constraint management, managing Business Transfers, products application (new part numbers) transition, developing Protection of Supply banks, organizing the workload for the team, developing and training employees.
  • Responsible for developing operational plans or new processes, in support of the organization’s business strategies with a direct impact on the organization's overall business results.
  • Responsible for leading supply chain operations in collaboration with external suppliers including their performance, supply chain system and processes, launch execution,  scheduling and material management required to support our manufacturing plants.
  • Executes deliverables in support of the supply chain organization's business objectives. Guides of one of the key areas within the Global Supply Chain to ensure business production objectives are met or exceeded in all areas including customer, quality, service, responsiveness, people, product and financial initiatives.
  • Communicate to all levels of the organization, within the function as well as other functions and suppliers Position is responsible for supporting relationship management with logistic suppliers and service providers
  • Focuses on ensuring suppliers can meet contracted capacity
  • Involved in working on-site with constrained suppliers and quickly developing plans to support production requirements

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 10+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Logistics Functions  
  • Proven track record of directly leading teams with a minimum of 4-5 people, driving results, and personal accountability with oneself and team   
  • Very good understanding of overall Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain functions
  • Desirable knowledge in Semiconductors Manufacturing Processes, lead-times and Supply Base
  • Timely decision making with limited information (ambiguity)
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage cross functionally from supplier executives to production operators
  • Ability to understand and assess complex supply chain issues and lead teams in a cross functional environment to successfully resolve issues minimizing impacts to vehicle production
  • Assess supplier schedules and impact on vehicle assembly production.
  • Collaborate cross functionally internally and externally to develop creative solutions.
  • Ability to summarize critical issues with resolutions and communicate to leadership
  • Handle very complex capacity constraint issues to resolution with goal to eliminate potential plant disruptions and reduce premium transportation.
  • Analyze metrics supporting supplier critical issues or sufficiency plan resolution.
  • Ability to be flexible and at times work extended and non-core hours to ensure issues are worked to resolution.
  • Ability to problem solve issues and implement new and innovative strategies.
  • Most decisions need to be made with limited information so an ability to manage complex information under pressure is essential
  • Ability to travel to plant and Supplier locations when required for onsite support
  • Must have Valid Passport
