Position Summary

The PS/Epidemiology, Science and Execution Senior Manager is an early‑ to mid‑career scientific role demonstrating an established command of epidemiology and regulatory science. The role requires a solid understanding of core epidemiology concepts, clinical trial safety principles, operational requirements of observational/real‑world data studies, and the regulatory frameworks governing patient safety in clinical and post‑marketing settings. Operating with limited supervision, the Senior Manager is responsible for translating and executing the strategy and priorities set by Senior Epidemiology leadership, ensuring delivery with scientific integrity, regulatory compliance, and inspection‑ready quality. This includes end‑to‑end execution of post‑marketing safety studies (PASS/PMR), secondary data analyses supporting benefit–risk maintenance, and other regulatory‑required documentation.

Position Responsibilities

  • Proactively translates and executes the epidemiology strategy and operating model set by Senior/Lead Epidemiology leadership, ensuring high‑quality epidemiology activities and inspection‑ready outputs.
  • Owns end‑to‑end execution of assigned epidemiology workstreams, from protocol development through study conduct and associated regulatory deliverables, ensuring quality, compliance, and adherence to timelines.
  • Directs the planning, preparation, writing, and review of substantial sections of epidemiology protocols and study documents, integrating scientific, operational, and regulatory input to final quality under Senior Epidemiology leadership direction.
  • Completes scientifically and regulatorily driven work required to deliver the defined strategy, including literature review and synthesis, drafting regulatory correspondence, and ensuring study requirements are operationally aligned with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Serves as an expert resource to Safety Management Teams (SMTs) by supporting safety signal evaluation and benefit–risk assessments through targeted literature reviews and secondary analyses aligned to the Senior Epidemiology Leadership scientific approach
  • Integrates and coordinates cross‑functional stakeholders (internal/external) to enable efficient study design and execution, maintaining clear communication pathways and resolving executional issues within delegated authority.
  • Oversees day‑to‑day activities required for successful epidemiology studies and analyses, including timeline management, deliverable tracking, and quality oversight, operating with limited supervision.
  • Leads or contributes to continuous improvement initiatives/workstreams to improve quality, compliance, and efficiency, including adoption of new approaches or tools where appropriate
  • Acts as project coordinator for defined Epidemiology initiatives, providing coordination support and scientific input to ensure timely delivery and aligned execution across partners and resources.


Requirements

  • Scientific/biomedical degree (e.g., BS, MPH, other Master’s degrees in clinical science, RN, PharmD, PhD, MD) with relevance to clinical medicine, drug development, pharmacy/pharmacology, etc., or other degree with relevant educational certificate(s).
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, which may include practical work that was part of training/education
  • Attention to detail along with strong scientific, analytical, and conceptual skills and the ability to reach reasoned conclusions Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects appropriately
  • Ability to work within matrix teams
  • Ability to manage timelines and quality of work
  • Good written and oral communication skills, especially for regulatory correspondence
  • Travel Required (nature and frequency). Business travel for key congresses, regulatory meetings, and various internal/external engagements is required (5%)

Compensation Overview:

Warsaw - PL: zł227,340 - zł275,484

The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. The final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience and in accordance with pay equity principles and applicable employment laws.
