You will be a part of HPB’s Performance and Standards Dept under Planning, Performance and Screening Division, which strives to advance health promotion efforts at a national level to reduce Singapore’s burden of chronic diseases.
We are looking for an independent and dynamic data analytics specialist to be part of our team to help with monitoring the effectiveness of our preventive health initiatives for our citizens.
This role is ideal for someone who is data-driven, passionate about leveraging analytics to improve health outcomes and is looking to contribute meaningfully to Singapore's preventive health landscape.
[What you will be working on]
As a key member of the Performance and Standards Dept team, you’ll be handling different projects.
Your job scope will entail the following:
- You will track Outreach Group’s performance using data visualisation tools like Power BI to assess programme impact on health behaviours and outcomes of our citizens.
- You will be part of the team to conceptualise, design and implement compelling dashboard visualisations to facilitate tracking and to provide visibility of key health metrices on a real-time basis for relevant stakeholders, such as for the Outreach Division.
- You will help to identify, conduct in-depth analysis of the data trends and translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for purposes of programme planning and presentations to our stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to ensure our health programmes are not only effective but continuously optimised based on robust data insights.
- Regularly review the utility of the indicators and their corresponding targets to ensure it meets the needs of the teams.
- You will also be part of the team to review and identify opportunities for process optimisation through the use of relevant digital tools solutions and best practices as well as provide guidance to colleagues on adoption of these tools for their daily work.
[What we are looking for]
- We are seeking a candidate who is a dynamic and self-motivated individual who has a Bachelor / Master in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science & Analytics, Public Health or related quantitative field from recognised university, with at least 5 years of working experience in data visualisation, business analytics and/ or data science.
- Strong foundation in data visualisation such as Power BI, Tableau.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to connect data insights to programme and organisational objectives.
- Strong collaborative and partnership building skills - able to work well in matrix and highly dynamic teams and/ or work with various stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly and persuasively to different stakeholders.
- Ability to work cohesively in fast-paced teams and navigate stressful, ambiguous situations in a positive, agile manner.
- Work independently with minimal supervision; possesses strong result-orientation and enjoys challenges.
