Do work that matters
This role is accountable for end-to-end partnership governance, compliance, and performance management across the Yello partner ecosystem.
You will lead the design and execution of best-in-class onboarding, contracting, supplier governance, and reporting frameworks, ensuring partnerships are operationally sound, compliant, and commercially optimised.
Working closely with Partnerships, Legal, Procurement, Risk, Finance, and Product teams, you will ensure that:
- Partnerships are structured correctly from inception
- Supplier and regulatory obligations are consistently met
- Financial and performance outcomes are accurately tracked and optimised
This role is critical in enabling Yello to scale partnerships confidently while maintaining strong control, risk discipline, and commercial rigour.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partnership Governance & Onboarding
- Lead end-to-end partner onboarding frameworks, ensuring seamless transition from deal execution to operational readiness
- Establish and maintain standardised contracting and onboarding processes, including playbooks, templates, and approval pathways
- Partner with Legal and Procurement to drive efficient contract negotiation and execution, ensuring alignment with standard clauses and commercial objectives
- Ensure all partnerships are structured in line with Supplier Governance Framework (SGF) and internal policy requirements
- Define and embed clear ownership models and governance forums across the partnership lifecycle
- Uplift onboarding experience for partners, reducing cycle time while maintaining control integrity
2. Compliance, Risk & Supplier Governance
- Own adherence to supplier risk, outsourcing, and third-party governance frameworks, including risk classification, due diligence, and ongoing monitoring
- Ensure all partnerships comply with regulatory, legal, and internal policy obligations (e.g. GDF, PDDP, RiC)
- Lead risk assessment processes for new and existing partners, including periodic refresh and control validation
- Design and implement controls and assurance mechanisms across onboarding, contracting, and operational processes
- Partner with Line 2 Risk, Compliance, and Group Procurement to ensure strong control design and audit readiness
- Provide subject matter expertise on supplier governance and operational risk to Partnerships and broader crew
3. Financial Management, Reporting & Performance
- Establish and own end-to-end financial governance processes, including:
- Billing and invoicing frameworks
- Revenue and cost recognition
- Reconciliation processes across partners
- Define and deliver partnership performance reporting, including:
- Commercial performance (revenue, margin, ROI)
- Offer performance and customer engagement
- Operational metrics and SLA adherence
- Build and maintain standardised reporting frameworks and dashboards to support decision-making
- Partner with Finance and Partnerships teams to ensure accurate forecasting, tracking, and optimisation of partnership value
- Lead monthly and quarterly performance reporting cycles, including executive-level insights and recommendations
- Identify performance risks and opportunities, driving actions to improve commercial outcomes
4. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Drive end-to-end process uplift across partnership lifecycle (onboarding → execution → reporting → renewal)
- Identify and implement automation and tooling opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
- Establish clear SLAs, KPIs, and operational rhythms across internal and external stakeholders
- Embed a culture of continuous improvement and control effectiveness
5. Stakeholder & Partner Management
- Act as a key interface between Partnerships, Risk, Legal, Procurement, and Finance
- Support Partnerships team in delivering strong, well-governed partner relationships
- Influence senior stakeholders to ensure alignment on governance, compliance, and commercial priorities
- Contribute to building a high-performing, scalable partnership ecosystem
We want to hear from you if you have
- Deep experience in supplier governance, third-party risk, or partnership operations within financial services, fintech, or marketplace models
- Strong understanding of risk, compliance, and control frameworks
- Demonstrated experience in contracting, onboarding, and supplier lifecycle management
- Proven capability in financial management, reconciliation, billing, and performance reporting
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to link operational performance to financial outcomes
- Experience designing and implementing scalable operational processes and governance frameworks
- Advanced stakeholder management and influencing capability across cross-functional and senior audiences
- Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and shape new ways of working
